I stayed at Altus Express Hotel in La Paz, Bolivia. I had an issue with my foot, but my Instagram probably already knows that. I just want to give a big shoutout to this hotel, but especially to the staff. Everything went above my expectations — how they helped me, even advancing me cash when I couldn’t get to a bank, bringing orders to my room, breakfast in bed, always asking if I needed anything. Super friendly, clean, delicious. Honestly, if you don’t have a reason not to, go there. Really. Wow, wow, wow. The staff definitely deserves a bonus. I’ll also be sending their names: Abigail, Deysi, Jordan, Wilmer, Miguel, and Leonardo.

Exceptional hotel. Really clean, plenty of space in the room. There is a bakery in the hotel which is excellent and this also meant that the croissants and toast for breakfast were freshly baked which was amazing. The staff are all extremely kind and helpful. Would highly recommend.

I stayed at the Madero at the end of October and liked it so much that I returned for another stay (after a short trip to Uyuni) the first week of November. Great location near Av. 16 Julio and two teleférico lines. I stayed in a small, quiet single room that had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. My room was heated and my shower had hot water. Continental breakfast included eggs every day. Front desk, housekeeping, and dining room staff were all professional, friendly, and helpful.
