The apartment is very nice and equipped with more than expected (a mixing bowl or salad bowl could be added to the kitchen on occasion). Second row, if you don't need a sea view, you're in good hands. The windows are very well insulated so you can't hear any noise from outside. Neither the tram nor the bar across the street are in any way disturbing. Supermarket, bakery and tram are right outside the door. It is a two-minute walk to the beach (when the traffic light is red 😉)

A very wide beach, very quiet, so plenty of space. The boulevard offers a wide selection of restaurants and cafes. A large supermarket and many smaller shops. Bike rentals. Tram. Ample parking. Friendly people who are never in a hurry.

I like this beach because it's more natural than others on a Belgian coast that isn't very long; unfortunately, the parking is paid, very expensive at Christmas even if you're charging an electric vehicle (there are many chargers in Oostdunkerke).

We expected a quiet apartment, but it was located next to a construction site. We would have liked to have known this beforehand. We reported this three times via booking.com, claiming our email would be forwarded to the owner. We received no response from booking.com or the owner. Unfriendly customer service!

Oostduinkerke is a beautiful, still quiet little town.

Oostduinkerke is a beautiful, still quiet little town. It's known for its UNESCO World Heritage status: here, crab fishermen still go out to sea on horseback, preserving a historical tradition. This can only be seen here. The beach is absolutely beautiful. There are also excellent restaurants.

A beautiful, wide beach with stunning dunes makes it the most beautiful seaside resort on the Belgian coast. A wide selection of marked hiking trails. We loved the shrimp fishermen on horseback. Bike rentals on the seawall are very easy, and we took a wonderful trip using the cycling junction system. There are also many great shops (De Zandvoetjes, Karavaan, Mira, Boekentuur, etc.).

Breakfast was sufficient. There is playground with sand, there are “cars” to put your stuff in and go to the beach, bicycle can be rented. Dinner can be take at bordering hotel except on Sunday. Amenities are basic but good for family.
