it is a not big but very cozy hotel. it also has a great restaurant. you could eat there and I must say it is worthy to do so, by just letting the host know your reservation. the food are very fresh and they are prepared very nicely with quality. the rooms are quite big and have enough good and clean facilities, which are in good condition. the breakfast is served by the hotel and had a good quality. in summer time you could sit outside to enjoy the cool air. the host hold a very high standards for service and makes the guest’s feel comfortable. and the family is very friendly. they provide English, French and German language service. it is next to the exit of E40(E44) and easy to find. very suitable for a few days’ stay to discover the neighborhood like Eifel national park or Monschau and of course Aachen. I would like to stay still here next time. attached is the delicious food they provided, very tasty!!!

The hosts are very friendly, kind and helpful. We even got treated to some home made pie upon checking out. There is a fireplace in the living room with everything you need to start it. Also there's everything you need in the kitchen to prepare and store food, a lot of kitchen utensils, pans, pots, knives, etc. We were here for the F1 SPA GP and it was a perfect choice.

We arrived at La Belle Maison by E-Bike and were greeted by the gracious host Dieter and his lovely wife. Dieter made sure our 2 Ebikes were stored in the garage and charged with electricity, after that we were offered a champagne and given a tour of the house. The property consists of a superbly restored farmhouse with parts of it that date back to the 15th century. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a very comfortable bed, we even had a stair that lead to an attic with couch and rocking chair, but we were so busy doing bike tours every day in the area that we didn’t use the upstairs space very often. That was also not needed since we were made to feel welcome in all the ground floor areas of the farmhouse. The view from the room was so nice, every morning we could see all the cars stopped in the road because a herd of cows had to cross from one field to the next, which was a very idyllic and picturesque view to wake up to. The breakfast was superb and very extensive with charcuterie plate and freshly baked croissants, yoghurt and scrambled eggs. We even got fresh apple juice from the farm. The best thing about La Belle Maison is the warm feeling we got all the time, like we were part of the family, after returning home from our bike rides through the fields and hills, having a glass of wine in front of the warm fireplace was the best after a long day. The countryside around La Belle Maison is so beautiful, with nature and fields and forests. The town centre is a 4 minute walk away with a nice restaurant right next to the church for lunch and dinner. We will certainly return to the valley of the Geul river and La Belle Maison to be cherished by Dieter and his wife once more. Wir kamen mit dem E-Bike im La Belle Maison und wurden vom liebenswürdigen Gastgeber Dieter und seiner lieben Frau begrüßt. Dieter sorgte dafür, dass unsere beiden E-Bikes in der Garage gelagert und mit Strom aufgeladen wurden, danach wurde uns ein glas Champagner angeboten und wir be

Maria is a wonderful hostess. She greeted us warmly and showed us around the wonderful guest house. The jacuzzi bath and wellness sauna were the cherry on the cake. The drinks in the minibar were free, a couple of beers, cola and water, with an option to pay for more. She also gave information about the area and supermarkets, restaurants and tips on where to order food. We sat outside the front in the evening and it was so peaceful. The homemade breakfast in the morning was wonderful and more than enough. We could put our bikes inside too which was an extra plus point. 10 out 10 from us. We certainly will return when in the area again
