We stayed here to visit bruges and gent and also thé coast. Gréât helpfull staff, found thé triple bedroom was very small as we were à couplé with an ado. Wouldnt reccommend this type of bedroom for 3. Otherwise everything was great

We had the most incredible stay for Jule's birthday. This spacious eco retreat was a cut above. We were personally looked after by the amazing hosts Peter and Angela, with morning saunas, beautiful breakfasts (I felt tears in my eyes from the love that had gone into our morning feasts), and love oozing out of every cute spot to sit and ground yourself to the present moment. With the added feature of fantastic art and sculptures, that kept your eyes occupied. Safe to say we were overwhelmed by how much detail had gone into creating this magical place, highly recommend. We had great dinner, party, nightlife and seaside recommendations from the pair all in a drivable time - with 15minute Ubers into Bruges for around £20 one way. A holiday sent to us by the universe. More than we could of dreamed of. We will be back. Thank you - Jess and Jules

Beautiful location, we thought it was quiet and could barely hear the road behind mentioned in other reviews. Lovely and clean cabin, very spacious and lovely rooms with fresh clean bedsheets and towels, wish we could have stayed longer! Can not comment as we only stayed two nights and went elsewhere for meals and shopping. For those on a tight budget try the B-Park for a self-service restaurant at the Lunch Garden. It is just a couple of miles north of Brugge centre.

Good place to stay for the locale.

Good place to stay for the locale. I was heading up to the coast near Ostend, also to Newport & Coxyde. So ideal. Also went to Oudenburg. Jabekke is a small town. Not too much going on. Basic facilities but as I had a car this was not a problem.

It was ok for what we paid and I thought location to Brugge was good. The local shops in town closed fairly early so this limited us. Overall room was fine and bed was too comfy and I would have asked fro a better room view but there is an option to pay a little more fro a better view. The staff were helpful and friendly overall I would stay again

The cottage was perfect for us and the dog, with a comfortable lounge and dining area, the large glass doors at the rear flooded this area with light. Well equipped and tidy kitchen area, the bedrooms were light and airy, with fly screens and blinds and comfortable beds. The village ahs a lovely bakery which is within walking distance of the cottage and a secure playing field to run around in. We had a fabulous day out in Bruges which was a short distance away visiting the market and main town areas. The day we had a Nieuwpoort was very bracing and we visited the military cemetery and memorials. Tijl was very helpful and must congratulate him on the sustainable measures he takes for this business.

Filip and Annelies went out of their way to ensure that my expectant wife and I were comfortable after a rough time travelling and a long border crossing. Their property is lovely and absolutely spotless. After a lie in, we were met in the kitchen with a lovely homemade breakfast and great conversation.

You can enjoy a truly delicious meal at a restaurant in the former town hall of Varsenare (municipality of Jabbeke). Highly recommended! Bruges and the Belgian coast are easily accessible by public transport. For 9 euros per person per day, you can explore the entire Belgian coast by tram, including De Haan, Knokke, Ostend, and Blankenberge. In Knokke, you can enjoy an excellent menu at Restaurant Royale.

Excellent location in Jabbeke, close to Brugge and Oostende. House is located near center of town, within walking distance. We have been coming to Jabbeke annually for 15+ years and have tried various locations before. Kastanjeboom has by far the best breakfast and the nicest hosts. Will definitely book there again next year. Highly recommended!

Ease of check-in due to digital check-in facility so doesn't really matter how late you arrive. Ricky the hotel manager was fantastic as he called up immediately after the reservation was made to explain the check-in process.
