Sarajevo is a wonderful city to explore – full of history, culture, and charm. Its location also makes it a perfect base for discovering other gems of Bosnia, such as Srebrenica, Mostar, and the stunning Kravice waterfalls. If you like medieval history then Sarajevo is jam packed with it. The clock tower blew my mind. It was my favourite historical spot in Sarajevo. The guide from Meet Bosnia, who told us its history, was very knowledgeable. Sarajevo is quite small and we walked whenever we wanted to go anywhere. We ate at Dzenita - it's very central. Delicious! We loved their food, but we didn't stay long enough to try out all the dishes I wanted to try. We also tried out Brunch Sa's full breakfast dish, Brunch Sarajevo - what a treat! We got out of Sarajevo to visit the famous Pyramid of the Sun. Yes, it is real. The meditations are very powerful there. Sarajevo is a hidden gem! It is beautiful and green with so much history and charm. It is amazing how the city has bounced back after the atrocities happening not too long ago.
