The hotel was very nice, at a convenient location. The staff was amazing, special complements to Hannah & José. They were incredibly helpful with all our requests, helped us rent a car, told us about places to visit, etc. We got a free upgrade of the room. This was so generous of you, guys! Perfect for what I payed and was looking for. The location is central and close to the airport. The linens and bed was amazing, slept very well. Airco cools room well and quick. Cable tv had allot of options. The air bnb has many extras you can rent, very handy. Kind hosts. The pool is heated at night.

We have stayed in many condos but this apartment was absolutely the best. Steps from the beach, restaurants and market all within walking distance. We did explore the island but you could stay here and never leave the property. Clean, well equipped kitchen, a big pool, all very convenient. Thank you to the host for being so welcoming and catering to all our needs. Highly recommend the apartment, except on those weeks when we want to rent it.

The family that manage the property are so accommodating. Very thoughtful and considerate. Very quiet and you are left to enjoy at your own pace. Tomarcia local host also does traditional cooking evenings. Cooking and eating and sharing together. Great experience as we had Uk / Canada / USA / Madeira all working and sharing and eating together. Thank you.

i booked this property for 5 nights and i told the owner if...

i booked this property for 5 nights and i told the owner if everything is ok i will book 6 more days. first 5 days everything was fine, but after i book 6 more days witch i paid in cash they switch off the hot water for shower which was the only thing i need it. i message them and they told me they will fix it but they didnt do it. after 2 days without hot water for shower and send almost 40 messages i asked them to return my money which thanks god they did it and i left the property. they destroy my holiday, they make me to feel miserable begging for hot shower. very cheap people. level zero.

The city is geared for high spending tourists.

The city is geared for high spending tourists. Restaurants up the wazoo. Casinos up the ying yang, and jewelry stores galore. For a budget traveler there is little to offer. Aruba in general is not for the frugal. Your money goes way farther in Mexico

My first hotel was Windcreek Renaissance Oceanside for 5 nights it was excellent. I was bump off my flight leaving on Sunday afternoon so I needed a room for one extra night. The Hyatt is right next to the airport which was perfect for me because my flight was early on Monday.

I stayed downtown because it was easy from the cruise ship...

I stayed downtown because it was easy from the cruise ship and I only had 2 nights. I thought there would be more shopping and restaurants and such … but it was either super high end jewelry or tourist trinkets. Obviously most people go out to the resort hotels. For my purposes it was fine … my hotel was nice, with good facilities and I did a nice island tour. I would not stay there for longer than a night or two … but for that it was great.

Aruba has really nice spots: the beaches, and the dramatic surf at Arikok National Park. Oranjestad, though, is populated mostly by American tourists, and everything in the city (except the parliament, I guess) exists primarily for these people.

The local restaurants of downtown Oranjestad were excellent...

The local restaurants of downtown Oranjestad were excellent with reasonable prices relative to the NY/NJ area. These restaurants were a quick (10-15 mins) and safe walk from the Renaissance Wind Creek marina property. Among the best restaurants on Wilhelminastraat: Yemanja Woodfired Grill; Restaurant Anno 1877; Wilhelmina Restaurant; Taste My Aruba; El Gaucho. Caya was an amazing restaurant in the Palm Beach section a short cab ride ($15) from the Wind Creek marina. It's easy to access some good shopping in the marina resort and directly behind the property.

In a grossly overpriced hotel market on Aruba, Marlon and Gaston run a quiet green gem of a boutique hotel dedicated to making thier visitors stay as pleasant as possible. I an a solo blind independent traveller and thier help from dropping me off at a tour meeting point, to advice to a toasted cheese sandwich when checking in late was fully appreciated. Loved the place, the friendliness of all the staff.

The staff was very nice and helpful, when they were around. Actually I rarely seen anyone, the reception was empty most of the time, but they always arrived in a couple of minutes after calling them on WhatSapp. The room was clean. The location is very close to the main shopping street of Oranjestad. Is is behind that street. The AC worked well.

-Close to the bus terminal in Oranjestad (like 8 minutes walking) and to a small beach next to the airport (Surfside beach, 20 min walking) -Chinese supermarket like two blocks away -Overall it’s a nice house, more like a shared apartment than a hostel; I was on the first floor where the shared rooms are

The colours, the spaciousness and the staff. Breakfast is delivered at the patio and there is many areas where you can sit and meet other guests. Also the pool was very clean and perfect for the hot weather. The staff are really nice and really kind. Social and easy going.
