AustraliaTruly exceptional stay. Beautiful home, well appointed, everything has been considered. Hosts (offsite) were just lovely. Heating was efficient. The area is super quiet which was just what my colleague and I needed. There is an in-ground trampoline which was a great stress reliever! Fixtures and fittings all new and working. I’d love a lamp in the lounge for late evening soft lighting and early morning work. I was very impressed with this stay and would definitely recommend. I will stay again when I’m in Young.

Didn’t stay long enough just overnight to explore too much. Went to a couple of cherry farms to pick our own cherries which were just divine. A must to do when visiting Young. They have a cherry festival in December which should be good to see another year. However need to book motels in advance because they fill up very quickly around cherry season time.

I was just passing through and stayed for one night, basically to sleep before another long drive the following day. My impression of Young was that it is a small and pleasant country town. It must be magnificent when the cherry blossoms are fully blooming. I noted that many domestic gardens had cherry trees. There is a sense of pride in showcasing the best of Young.

Lovely town, the people are friendly and helpful. We eat at the Service club, the meals there vary in quality. The Australia pub food was superb and huge! The little fish and chip shop near the Council Office is well worth the visit, the hamburgers we had were really good! The town has a lovely little fabric shop and the personnel there couldn't be more helpful. All in all a lovely time there for us

Young is an excellent regional town.
Young is an excellent regional town. Great restaurants, cafes, shopping, wineries, scenery. Very friendly. Hussey's for breakfast was unrivalled. Elliotz for dinner was fantastic. The Salami Bros thin crust vegetarian pizza was the best I've ever had. The Grove Estate Winery was well worth the visit. Great service and terrific wines. Murringo is a lovely small town nearby.

Great winery area, the Hilltops region, with a great selection of wines, predominately Italian varieties. Recommend Freeman Wines, Ballinaclash and Grove Estate. Also if you love cherries, then visit Ballinaclash Winery around mid November and December and pick your own cherries. Great local pubs and club. On your way to Young go via Jugiong and have lunch at the Sir George Hotel, a lovely experience.

young is a very tidy friendly town and comes to life with the cherry festival and fruit sales, has active horse activities and other sports regularly. We ate at the services club and the australian hotel and the meals were tasty and good value with a good variety available. heaps of other restaurants and venues to try next time.

The Young Federation Motor Inn is located centrally within town and is an easy walk to Boorowa Street (the main drag). It’s also across the road from the Services Club, which is great for meals, drinks and the other facilities on offer. We stayed in a suite with a balcony overlooking the weir and park and it was a very pleasant view while having a morning coffee.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms immaculate and the bed was very comfy.

Fantastic property! Annabelle was a wonderful host, great communication and very helpful. The unit was very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with a massive fridge/freezer. Washer/dryer was a bonus. Loved all the thoughtful touches. Very quiet neighbourhood. Off street parking. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to fellow travellers. Definitely stay again next time I'm in Young
