Great location. Secure parking. They extended our stay for us with out the hassel of walking across the road to change it early in the morning before check out time. The receptionist was a very nice man and made us feel welcome.. We will definitely be staying again.

Staying at this heritage-listed guest house was like stepping into a beautifully preserved piece of history. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by its timeless charm—soaring ceilings, ornate woodwork, and vintage furnishings that speak to a bygone era, all lovingly maintained. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with each room telling its own story through thoughtful details and period features. I especially loved the tea room, nestled at the front of the building, surrounded by glass windows. What made the experience even more memorable was the balance of historic character with modern comfort. The beds were new, plush, the bathrooms were clean, and the complimentary breakfast staples were a nice touch. Staff were super friendly also.

This could be a great stay for families.

This could be a great stay for families. The Beach and nearby huge playground. There is a free zoo at the botanical gardens. It could be a great place for shopping. Two malls, a very long main street, and nearly every franchise located somewhere in the town.

Wagga Wagga is a lovely wide spread, low rise building inland city. It was our first visit. We stayed here as we had a loved one Marching Out from the army at Kapooka. We found the town really clean. The tree lined streets smelt amazing. There was so many eating and shopping venues so near to our accommodation. The Beach and on the Murrumbidgee River was beautiful. The people were very friendly.

Loved Wagga Wagga.

Loved Wagga Wagga. Plenty of cafés and restaurants, with everything clustered close enough to walk. Parking is easy, and the river and parks give you a nice break from town. Friendly people, relaxed atmosphere — no stress.

We made our trip from Marrickville in Sydney and were very struck by the contrast in how lovely and personable the people are in Wagga. That alone was a very stark and welcome contrast that I would encourage anyone to experience and embrace. It's a city that has everything you need and offers it as a thing of humble quality, free of the frivolity, hype and nonsense back in the coastal cities. The city council very clearly takes it's obligations to the people as seriously as they should, because everywhere we went the place was very well serviced and maintained. I feel it's worth noting the huge sporting focus of the city that is apparent by the abundance of excellent sporting facilities in the region, because it speaks volumes about the people. They come together from a young age and strive together, supporting one another, cheering for one another in healthy competition with one another. It's entirely unsurprising that so many Australian sporting champions and legends have come from Wagga. In summary, if my wife wasn't a dyed in the wool city person, I would straight up move to Wagga and raise our young children there. It's a beautiful place that hasn't lost touch with what's important in life.

Very modern town with plenty to do.

Very modern town with plenty to do. Shops and nearby attractions are good. We went to a local Chinese restaurant at Kooringal and were delighted by the food and prices. Wagga RSL club is very modern and has all the usual club facilities. Went to Palm & Prawn Hotel for a kid's birthday party and again their facility was excellent. Plenty of seating and kids' playground keep the kids entertained. Food offerings were good

Nice wide streets; beautiful old buildings; lovely river!!

Nice wide streets; beautiful old buildings; lovely river!! Glass Art Gallery great, and so were the Historic Council Chambers. We strolled through the Botanic Gardens and were surprised by the Zoo there! Disappointed that the museum of the Riverina was closed (on Mondays). We ate in the Romano Hotel, which was very nice.

Even though the accommodation was clean and bed comfortable, there was little else to recommend this park. Compared to other places $25 for our dog was a bit much. We paid only $10 at the most beautiful place we stayed at at Yass NSW! The screen door had something wrong with it. I don’t know, but is there a drought in Wagga Wagga, if so that would explain a lot and I feel for the hosts.
