Great experience staying in in an old Hotel. One could imagine what it was like in the past , but with a little bit more comport. we had dinner there. and the chief was one of the best. everything had the most wonderful flavors. Would go again just for the dinner.

The cottage was amazing, new, clean and every facility we needed.. The rooms were luxurious and the bathrooms beautiful. The living area/kitchen gave us a huge amount of room to congregate as a family, eat, play and relax. The 4 bedrooms gave us the ability to get away from one another too. Thanks for the tasty warm bread on arrival. Best stay, will and have already recommended to everyone. Service and communication was fantastic.

On our short Australia visit, The Henry Parks stood head and shoulders above all others. Check in was a breeze, all of 60 seconds. Our room was exceptionally spacious and could not be cleaner . Our bed proved more comfortable than my own ( must look at that 😀 )..if I have one gripe it would be the kitchen was sparsely appointed, however I put this down to my not checking more closely when booking. However we managed. Yes, I certainly recommend this property and would be happy to stay again were I again in the area.

It was much bigger than what we thought it would be.

It was much bigger than what we thought it would be. There is lots to see .great town. We only stayed 1 night so we didn't get to see everything. But we are definitely going to go back and stay longer. I couldn't submit any photos because they are on my brothers camera.

Tenterfield is a pleasant country town with the essentials for travellers, somewhere comfortable to stay, eat and drink. The surrounding countryside has spectacular views and opportunities for the adventure motorcyclist.

Lovely country town - friendly service- quality shops- wonderful dress shop in Main Street - bakers grain bakery excels at sourdough toast and coffee for breakfast. Gorgeous regional town with wonderful hospitality.

It’s a beautiful town with very friendly people and...

It’s a beautiful town with very friendly people and excellent food choices the bowls club and the Tenterfield motor inn serves their own curry on the premises . It’s an excellent choice of hotel very clean and well located. Tenterfield has beautiful gardens and a wonderful antique shop in the center of town Christina Mary is a great person and she works there. All in all a great place to visit.

Beautiful setting and lots of attractive old houses and...

Beautiful setting and lots of attractive old houses and other buildings. Several parks and lots of places to eat and shop. Close to the Bald Rock National Park. It's easy to walk around the main part of the town but a car is needed for the national parks.

It seemed like a lovely town.

It seemed like a lovely town. We had a very enjoyable dinner at The Commercial Hotel. The food was satisfactory, the portions generous and the ambience delightful. As we arrived much later than we'd hoped, and had to leave in the morning, we missed out on the things we'd have like to have experienced, so we will go there again one day.

Room 12 was exceptionally quiet with undercover parking right outside our accommodation and what a surprise when we walked into our accommodation, FABULOUS spotless and the bed so so comfortable. Would recommend this accommodation to all travellers to Tenterfield and close to Main Street. Enjoyed our dinner in the Hotel Restaurant, again fabulous. A credit to the owners and super friendly staff.

The room was clean and shower pressure was great- two things I look for in a room when staying. Bed was comfy. Heater worked well to keep the room warm which is needed in Tenterfield during the Autumn/Winter. Had a microwave and fridge which is always handy. Close to town but didn’t hear any noise from traffic. Was basic but affordable…you get what you pay for. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel accommodated my quiet, old Golden Retriever, which is not easy to find in most Australian towns. Great ground floor room with direct access to the street. Really clean and well-appointed room with large bethroom, refrigerator and tea making, facilities, TV and nice sitting area..

A beautiful, cosy and welcoming place to stay. Had a lovely homely feel and everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We wished we had more than one night. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a great spot to stay in Tenterfield. 10/10!

Excellent establishment, we stayed in the Parkes cabin, electric blanket and air conditioning to keep us warm, it’s gets cold in Tenterfield so that was very important to us! Excellent staff, very friendly. Highly recommend!
