As seniors we had a $2.50 all day Opal card which enabled us to travel extensively both on the trains and ferries. We went out to Newcastle, the Blue Mountains, Kiama and the Hawkesbury River all for $2.50 a trip great value. The city is very busy but the transport system is excellent and easy to use,

Very clean and walkable city plenty to see Public transportation is excellent once you figure out how to pay. Took the train to the Blue Mountains, spent the day, wasn't enough time. We'll need to go again. Haystreet market in Chinatown (open Wed-Sun) is a tourist souvenir dream spot. VERY affordable prices.

Location and views were amazing. The pool was awesome. Loved the fact after a long drive there was tea and coffee, however some small cartons of long life milk would be appreciated as the general store does not sell milk. All in all the apartment made for a great base to explore Sydney from

I love to visit Sydney - so many options for food and entertainment . Enjoy the opportunity to use public transport - so easy and convenient to jump on a train and go to town for dinner and a show . Also a fan of the light rail- to Randwick for the races, or Circular Quay for the Opera House! Shopping is great and any sort of food you could possibly want is available.

One of the most beautiful places in the world.

One of the most beautiful places in the world. The city is great, but you must take the ferry to Manly beach and to Watson's bay and Rose bay. It is the places nearby which are mesmerising, and don't forget to go to the Blue mountains – a must-visit.

For the best shopping, restaurants, pubs, cafes and bars all...

For the best shopping, restaurants, pubs, cafes and bars all in a 30-minute walk, stay in Paddington and/or Woollahra. Old-fashioned pubs (The Paddo Inn, The Village Inn, The Woollahra Hotel) or sushi, gourmet supermarkets or foodie bakeries - you can also take home outstanding Italian to cook in your Air BnB at Barbetta. Berkelouw Books in Paddington is a huge modern/secondhand book paradise with a cafe and at the Woollahra end of the 30-minute walk you'll find Jo Malone. If you want to go home with bags of great vintage shoes and a ton of photographs of wow-factor food (and good pub memories) this is where you stay in Sydney. Oh, and the Oxford Street 333 bus in Paddington takes you to Bondi Beach. For picnics, Centennial Park on the Paddington/Woollahra border is fantastic. Buy all the food in Woollahra and go.

Location was great, within easy walking distance to the Sydney art gallery, botanic gardens and harbour. Absolutely loved how quiet the room was, a huge plus for a light sleeper. Pillows were also fantastic and not gigantic firm abominations as some hotels tend to go for looks and not comfort. Very much appreciated the ability to leave our bags there as we waited for check in. The bar in the hotel on ground level had a great range of tequilas. Also its proximity to a hidden gem of a coffee/muffin place tucked behind the AFP building.

It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The facilities, location, and staff — everything was truly above my expectations :) We had some trouble using the induction cooktop, but after contacting the staff, they showed great initiative in solving the problem and were very kind and patient throughout. I love this place, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends if they come to Sydney!

Yehs Hotel Sydney CBD is located very centrally so it's an easy walk to many tourist spots like Darling Harbour, Chinatown, ThaiTown, shops, restaurants and theatres. Both Central Train Station and Town Hall Station are a five minute walk away. The hotel staff are very friendly and informative about the sights and current events of the vibrant city of Sydney.

Ideal location in the center of Sydney. Modern and new feeling rooms for great value. As a Sydney local who has stayed in numerous hotels around Sydney CBD, this hotel has to be one of the best I've stayed in, for its price range. Super impressed and would recommend.
