China town and Paddys market are definitely the highlights...

China town and Paddys market are definitely the highlights for us, great oriental food, Asian supermarket for interested cooks and the new eating section with bars, bakeries and music was terrific. Disappointed that there were no pubs opened in the Rocks area over Christmas when there were thousands of tourists looking for somewhere to eat and go.

Great place to visit, so much to see and do.

Great place to visit, so much to see and do. A couple of days not long enough. The one disappointment was the Captain Cook Long Lunch Cruise, I should have just gone on a different one which actually gives you a commentary while cruising around the Harbour. Lunch was nice but I'm sure a local cafe would have been a better choice and then go on a shorter more informative cruise, value for money wise.

Loved my week in Sydney.

Loved my week in Sydney. Its place on the harbor makes it a wonderful place to be out of doors and enjoy the natural beauty of Australia. The local attractions including the Royal Botanic Gardens, Opera House, Art Gallery of New South Wales, ANZAC memorial, and Taronga Zoo, also give you a chance to get to know more about the city and the country. There are great restaurants (highly recommend the Spice Room on Pitt Street), cafes, and coffee shops and Pitt Street offer shopping from basic to lux.

Don’t be afraid of looking a bit further from the city. The bus into town every ten minutes. Uber fare between $20-$30. So it’s cheaper than paying for parking in the city. Lovely walks around suburban quiet streets and parks close by.

The hotel itself is a boutique style. It is clean and spacious compared to other hotels in the city area. I loved the 2 shower options (rain shower or massage or hand held spray) with decent water pressure. The toiletries were fresh and smelt lovely on my skin. The complimentary drinks in the mini fridge was great, and the top up daily is handy. You had still and sparkling water, juices, soft drinks and your usual coffee and tea. It was on level 11, a king room booking so this would be standard. This is in walking distance to everything CBD.

Spacious, well furnished, comfortable and very clean rooms, great pool/gym, very nice hotel surroundings and steps away from the Sydney Botanic Gardens. Fantastic breakfast. It is a bit far (20-30 mins walk) from Circular Quay or the CBD but there are plenty of taxis and you can walk through the nearby parks to those destinations. The reception staff were very attentive and concerned about our stay, particularly Jade. If you like hotels a bit away from the noise, this is a perfect place.

Walking distance to museum. Probably one of the quietest hotels we've ever stayed in! Nice continental breakfast provided daily.
