Well it's a interesting place nice coffee shops and other shops no traffic jams yet Minnamurra rain forest is worth a visit and the beaches a great clean water with walking paths a joining them worth a visit.

Shellharbour has everything from a shopping mall to cute cafes. The natural beauty of the coastline, the charm of the original village and the more upmarket Marina development makes it a great place to visit.

Love the quietness of the town yet it has everything you...

Love the quietness of the town yet it has everything you need in it. Love the cafes, that there is a supermarket and the few cute little boutique shops. It is very walkable too and right near the beach, so I felt like I got everything in this little town.

Everything is in easy walking distance from Laurie & Barb's apartment. Shellharbour town is very pleasant. It has everything one would require for a getaway. The main shopping precinct has lots of varied eateries. The fish & chip shop does a roaring trade, but we bought Thai which was excellent! The local tavern appeared to have good clientele also and the cake shop had lovely selections and great coffee! All this right by the harbour. There is an IGA in the main street, and if you drive 5 mins to Shell Cove, there is a Woolworths.

Shellharbour is part of a greater urban area, Shellharbour...

Shellharbour is part of a greater urban area, Shellharbour City. It provides plenty of differing accommodation options, has a great range of shops, restaurants and lovely beaches, is easy to travel around, and is no more than 40 minutes drive from a great area of the NSW South Coast from Lake Illawarra to the Shoalhaven region. This is a great place for a summer holiday for families of all ages.

Great central location for a short stay or long weekend. Shops and restaurants of high quality next door. Apartment tis of the highest quality and standard. Do yourself a favour and book in a stay, you wont regret it.

The room was clean and comfortable. The areas was quite even though the motel is attatched to a hotel and drive through bottle shop. I thought for the area and general room the pricing was over the top. I fail to understand the pricing as I booked 3 rooms 2 x $154 and the third room was $170. The only difference in the rooms was 2 had a double bed and a single and the third had a double bed only. This makes no sence to me and I was disappoined in this difference since I had a special guest and gave her the special $170 room!

Everything, especially the staff and everything inside the cabin, was beautiful. I had all I needed for my stay. The fridge, Cooking utensils, kettle, coffee, sugar, tea, milk, microwave, and wi-fi were so good as well. A lot of places to eat around this place and very close to the beaches and the shops especially the "Shellharbour Shopping Centre, the Marina", etc.
