    Sarina is a busy town with a big sugar mill, the highway passes through the main street, so it's good to locate accommodation off the highway if possible. Supermarket & good shopping in town. Beaches are nearby & quite pleasant.

    Our stay was absolutely great.

    Our stay was absolutely great. The rooms were very clean and spacious. And the ocean view from our balcony was stunning 😍 The food at the restaurant was really good, homemade style. The ladies at the reception and the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay there again and will recommend it anyone 😊

    Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. There is not much at Sarina beach but the people are friendly and the beach is excellent for walking and exploring the rocks at low tide. We didn't use the pool as it was cold during our stay and raining but it looked very clean and inviting.

    We only slept over on our travels back home and made our own...

    We only slept over on our travels back home and made our own food in the unit. All the facilities were there but we saw several people walking by with take-aways and it looked and smelled fantastic. Sarina Beach is off the main drag and it is worth driving out there for a peaceful night's sleep. I would love to have stayed a day or two more and explore the area which seems like a really nice and tranquil community.

    Armstrong Beach is the actual location of the apartment, about 10 mins from Sarina. The apartment is on the top floor, a very short walk from the beach. It reminds me of an older Queensland style of living, which we loved, quiet location, a back yard that we could park the car in so it's off the street. It's very comfortable, air conditioned, and very clean. ps also within reasonable driving distance of Mackay.

    This hotel is such a classic Aussie motel we loved our stay! There was such attention to detail and we loved the colour coordination in the room. The two staff members we came in contact with were so friendly and welcoming. Great value for money and would definitely stay if in the area again!

    TV was not working on arrival. Management fixed with 20 minutes with new remote batteries (thanks heaps). Good to have the Hotel restaurant etc in the same complex.

    Very noisy aircon, I know they’re undergoing renovations but it was a trek to get to the room and no way to get from rooms to the main hotel.
