How picturesque and quiet it was. I liked how the cottage has been maintained within the era, whilst also having more modern features (heater, tv). The beds were extremely comfortable, there was also DVDs and board games. Lots of information and history about the local area and the cottage itself. There was kindling and firewood also available, with information about which fireplaces were not to be used. We enjoyed taking a step back in time and staying in the cottage as did our son. We had an appreciation and respect for the cottage and hope to return again if ever in the area.

The room@ensuite were the best we have stayed in,both were extra large and well presented. The bed was very comfortable and we will certainly stay there again.
