Very relaxing stay. The staff were really helpful and the room was spacious with a fireplace and bathtub looking out over the river and mountains. Feeding the alpacas was a bonus. Would recommend.

We have stayed at the Commercial Hotel a number of times and have never had any problems. Comfort and cleanliness has always been up to standard but I think they must have spring cleaned or have a new cleaning crew because the room was really clean (skirting boards, windows and bathroom etc.) - thank you. My husband is usually working so the proximity to town when I don't have transport is also very important to me when booking accommodation and the fact I just cross the yard and I get a good value meal in the Hotel. Also there is a small shopping centre just up the road for any necessities and goods for breakfast.

Springmead B&B in Rydal provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

Absolutely beautiful cabin and location. Plenty of breakfast and bubbly on arrival. Hosts were lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer!
