We did the Hawkins Bay walk very steep need good fitness but the view was very rewarding once you reached the top. The Jetty is great both day and the lights are lovely at night time. Picnic Bay is the quieter end of Magnetic Island with a lovely beach lots of birdlife and well cared for Mall area filled with shaded seating areas , magnificent Fig trees and a hotel which serves good food with bright cheerful service. There are other options for meals and more to be found in the other bay areas and the local bus service will take to all the beauty spots on the Island. If you want a relaxing holiday Picnic Bay is an excellent choice.Guest review byMaureenAustralia

The room was spotless, had everything I needed and was so spacious. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable. The resort is in a great location, just a 2 min walk from Picnic Bay beach, restaurants and cafes and the bus stop if you need it.
