Blossoms on the Bay at Nubeena was our best stay during our time in Tasmania! It certainly lived up to expectations and the owners have provided everything needed for a wonderful long or short stay. Thank you for an exceptional stay! Regards, B&L - Brisbane.

Nubeena is a good base for exploring the Tasman Peninsula.

Nubeena is a good base for exploring the Tasman Peninsula. It is the commercial centre of the district, with a tavern, a cafe, a pharmacy, a bank and a small supermarket. Nearby there is also a Services Club that does meals, another small supermarket and a liquor store. It provides easy to access all the main attractions of the Peninsula, including Port Arthur, the Coal Mines convict site, Eaglehawk Neck and walking tracks in Tasman National Park.

Lots of places of interest to visit.

Lots of places of interest to visit. The most historic place in Australia, Port Arthur is close by. Take a tour of PORT Arthur day and visit the Isle of the Dead, then book the Ghost Tour for the evening with a meal in the restaurant on site. Beaches, wilderness, wildlife, ARE all around, although not much in the way of restaurants. A disappointment was the Unzoo. Don't go there.
