Really enjoyed our stay in Nelson Bay, the studio was so nice with everything we needed. Debbie was so helpful throughout and provided recommendations for the nicest restaurant. The bed was so comfy! Would definitely recommend staying here close walk to beach and restaurants/shops.

We had a fantastic stay in Nelson Bay! The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The availability of parking space outside the hotel was a big plus. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nelson Bay.

    Nelson Bay is just great.

    Nelson Bay is just great. I dont live too far, in Newcastle, but we always had family trips to the bay for Christmas. And I want my son to have the same experiences I did when I was younger. It is just far away that it really does feel like we are on holidays somewhere alot further away. The shops, the cafes, the resturants, bars, everything is at your door step. Summer time is amazing, the bay has the most beautiful colours, everyone enjoying the sun. It is definitely 10/10

    Nelson Bay is amazing!

    Nelson Bay is amazing! It's THE DESTINATION if you enjoy peace, quiet and nature :) All the surroundings beaches are worth the visit too! I had few good meals over the weekend, but highlights include Essence Cafe and Taj Tandoori Indian. If you are fish and chips kind of person - Aussie fish and chips is the best! Parking in Nelson Bay is expensive, so best to park your car but out of the center for free parking.

    Great location with a wide variety of activities for all ages, great walk to top of Mt Tomaree, history with the gun locations, sand driving lots of awesome big and small beaches, too much too mention

    The marina was amazing and the people in the shops and...

    The marina was amazing and the people in the shops and restaurants were friendly and had suggestions for eating out. We found a lovely cafe for lunch and then enjoyed a delicious dinner at Buoys. In the morning, we had breakfast at a gorgeous cafe located in a home wares store. A few purchases were made here. There is paid parking in the main streets for one hour so moving the car was the only issue with spending more time shopping and exploring the town. In warmer weather we would explore the water activities. Worth the trip off the motorway for Nelson Bay when travelling between Brisbane and Sydney.

    Nelson Bay is so peaceful and friendly.

    Nelson Bay is so peaceful and friendly. We were just interested in relaxing for this stay. There is so much to do within a very small distance and Newcastle is less than an hour away. We returned from our stay totally refreshed. The Bowling Club have great meals and drinks.

    Given that we were travelling in winter and the weather was rainy, the atmosphere was somewhat glum. We have been travelling to Nelson Bay for quite a number of years and have always enjoyed our time there, but usually it has been in the summer time. The area and its beaches have always been very good and enjoyable.

    The Resort is an excellent place to stay. It is next door to the Nelson Bay Golf Club and a short stroll to the Nelson Bay Marina and other sensational features in and near Nelson Bay (i.e. Inner Lighthouse cafe, Fingal Bay, etc) The rooms are always well maintained, with excellent facilities. The resort looks down across Nelson Bay township out to the bay which is spectacular all the time.

    A good size room with easy walking to most food outlets and hotels. Ten per cent discount at adjoining restaurant on production of room key, where the food was good. Nelson Bay and surrounds are fantastic locations. We would stay at the Seabreeze again.

    Hotel Nelson is located centrally in Nelson Bay, close to everything you want. Good sized room with generous bathroom. it’s an older building renovated, but done well. Good value, great cafe (breakfast & lunch) downstairs.

    The location was great for access to Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay. The size of the room was significantly bigger than most of the motels I have visited. The room was very clean and well maintained.
