What an amazing place to stay. Having just come off the Bibbulmun Track, where I hadn't really seen many people for a week and had lots of peace and quiet, this lovely oasis was perfect—just bird sounds and a little classical music from the kitchen! And that wasn't all that came out of the kitchen... Wanda, who runs Whispering Pines, treated me to fresh biscuits, still warm from the oven, home-made cake and fine Yorkshire Tea (liquid gold for a Yorkshireman like me). She was also kind enough to take me into town so I could get an evening meal, then picked me up again once I was done, as I didn't have a car. I can't recommend Whispering Pines highly enough for anyone who is looking for a quiet corner of Western Australia to relax in.

We booked a weekend getaway at Glen Mervyn lodge for my Mum's birthday, we stayed in the Lodge and she absolutely adored her time and loved the beautiful home and location. We are a family of 8, 3 Adults and 5 kids, we had a beautiful relaxing weekend, kid's loved their stay and actually got out and about and didn't sit on their phones all day. We Loved everything and Vicki was so helpful, even with my silly questions lol can't thank her enough for sharing her beautiful home with my family and I. We will definitely be back, but next time I'll make sure to book for longer, because nobody wanted to leave.

I received all the code I needed but since I'm not that smart, probably receiving all these codes as a text message or in the last email just before the arrival, would have been more easy.

    Beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful and peaceful. Not a lot going on in the direct area, more a place you would go to rest and recharge or a base to go and explore surrounding towns. Plenty of walks and mountain bike tracks in the area.
