The apartment was so big and spacious. Very clean and everything you needed was provided. Secure parking was great. Access to the plaza and so many places to eat were within walking distance. It's a peaceful place, the hosts are adorable, there is everything for comfort in this apartment. Rita and Tony have taken care of the details for the best comfort of the guests: comfortable beds, clean and beautiful bathroom, television and the very "lounge" breakfast room, several things to have breakfast: different breads, yogurts, fruit juices, tea, coffee, latte. And we can have breakfast outside, on a small table with a view of the beautiful guest garden while having our privacy and in a quiet street. So, this is the right place to stay near the Sunshine Coast. Thank you very much, I recommend and I want to come back one day.

    Maroochydore is a lovely place to visit for all age groups.

    Maroochydore is a lovely place to visit for all age groups. The public transport buses are running past constantly. Ubers are readily available and an economic way to get around also if you have no car. The Sunshine plaza is a huge mall situated on the Maroochy river, hundred of shops and eateries, also a movie theatre. The beach & river are both great places to spend time, in beautiful surroundings, maroochy surf club has good reasonably priced food, and awesome beach views from the restaurant & bars. Maroochydore also has a nice aquatic centre. great for kids and cooling off.

    Quiet and peaceful compared with Mooloolaba. Excellent facilities, accommodation, cafes, restaurants, beaches etc. The Boatshed, where we celebrated our Golden Wedding anniversary was our favourite restaurant.

    The beach, shops, bars and restaurants are plentiful.

    The beach, shops, bars and restaurants are plentiful. It has a wonderful vibe to it. We used the surf clubs at Maroochydore and Alexandra Headlands and ate at The Alex Bar and Grill. We hired some SUP boards and tried it out at Cotton Tree Bay

    In my opinion as a 64 year old Maroochydore is the hidden...

    In my opinion as a 64 year old Maroochydore is the hidden gem of the Sunshine Coast. You have the tourist hubs of Mooloolaba to the south (3 minutes) and Noosa to the north (40 minutes). In particular, the little pocket of Cotton Tree has a little village feel about it. Everybody you pass on the street says G'Day or at least gives a smile and a nod. GOLD

    There are many restaurants to choose from.

    There are many restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed Lyra, which offered excellent Greek cuisine and attentive service. It, like numerous other restaurants, is on Ocean Street, very close to the apartment. The Big Top Shopping Center with a Woolworths grocery and other shops also is close.

    I love staying beside the Maroochy river with accessibility...

    I love staying beside the Maroochy river with accessibility to the ocean for long beach walks and swimming. There's an excellent riverside picnic area with a great playground and plenty of good dining places in the area. A big shopping complex is nearby to purchase all the traveller needs.

    Extremely good value based upon LOCATION (Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Cotton Tree all easily accessible, CLEANLINESS & MAINTENANCE - an older building refurbished (better than I expected) all require an ongoing effort towards the rooms and the building. COMMUNICATION - I had to change my arrival date at short notice - communicaition and instructions on everythign from key pickup to the ones night before and day of departure fwere spot on.

The garden area and al fresco would the best "chill out "zone I've experienced, better than Bali resorts. Included tall tables and bar stools to oversee the river, with bar-b-que and outdoor TV. Comfortable beds. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer provided, TV and air-conditioning

    The 3 bedroom apartment we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. Near shops, beach, Surf Club, Bowls Club, weekend markets and restaurants. Grandchildren (teenagers)felt safe to go places on their own. Lock up garage for 1 car Loads of street parking just outside the complex.     Friendly receptionist. Close to the river, nice views. Apartments could do with a coat of paint. Full kitchen set up , although signs of wear on some equipment . Bedroom desperately needs curtains to light in the morning. Bed comfortable, noisy road and neighbors. Bit of a walk into Maroochydore/ cotton tree. All in all not bad .
