If you are goint to experiance the "Great Ocean road" this hotel is a perfect starting point, for day trips around the area. Visit the Twelve apostles, the Cape Otway national park, the beaches, or just the spesial nature around. The rooms was perfekt, and you have your own car park outside your dor. 100 meter to the shops / resturants Duncan and Anna was realy nice, telling the story around the Apollo Bay area. Very nice breakefast with your own *al a cart" egg and beacon........ Highlig recomended.

My parents and I enjoyed our one night stay at the hotel. We arrived just as they were setting up for the late arrivals and we were able to get the full run down on property amenities and restaurant recommendations. We all slept really well in the dark, quiet room after a day of driving from Melbourne, and were grateful for such a comfortable stay. We could have easily stayed another night or two if we weren't continuing our journey. Highly recommend!

The location is great. The beach is across road. Easy check-in and check-out. I get a re-decorated cabin, it is brand new, very clean and facilities are great! The child playground offers so much fun to the child. The location even offers kids club session, which is totally exceed my expectation.

it has a nice area for relaxing outside if the weather is fine, easy to find, and not that far away from apollo bay for entertainment and eating experiences that are fabulous. it is comfortable and good for staying when exploring the great ocean road and surrounding areas.

Well equipped home in quiet location but close enough to...

Well equipped home in quiet location but close enough to everything. Enough comfortable lounge chairs for everyone. Wifi, netflix. Well equipped with everything you need, didnt use it but even an air fryer. Loves being able to take the dog with us. Good heating options even in the bedrooms. Would stay again.

The position is good if you are exploring - perfectly placed...

The position is good if you are exploring - perfectly placed along the great ocean road on your wait to or from the 12 apostles - however there is really not much to do, neither in Marengo nor in Apollo Bay to be honest. If you are going back toward Melbourne you might want to stop in Lorne, which is a really pretty town, or if you are going in the other direction, I suggest you push through and go directly to Port Campbell.

Marengo family caravan park is a beautiful park right on the beach, there is so much bird life and other guest appearances here from koalas, wallabies and a near by seal colony, nature at its finest. I stayed in a sea view cabin and it had all the basics for a great stay. It’s a peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle of city life and if your looking to relax then this is perfect. You are literally a 50-100 metre stroll onto a beautiful beach. Depending on your tastes Dragon bay Chinese restaurant is nice too if you like Chinese food, I had the Mongolian lamb and honey pepper lamb and it was really nice so worth treating yourself too, there are a couple of really nice coffee shops side by side about 100 metres up from the Local IGA one was Sandy feet I think, they do great coffee and bacon and egg rolls etc. So I think the only downside for me was having to leave
