The host Tess went above and beyond is ensuring we had a great stay. The breakfast is superb and beautifully presented. The room has a balcony from which the view is astounding. There was a spa tub in our room and that was terrific after a hard days walking in the National Park. Mapleton itself is a lovely little town. Loved it all

We really enjoyed the wonderful and quiet location. The rooms were very comfortable and very well equipped. Rachel that runs the place is a wonderful and caring person. She made everything possible and was very helpful in planning the trips in the area. We would come back any time! We could have stayed longer! It was a great surprise to see the that Rachel runs a wildlife or orphanage. We loved it very much to see the baby wallabies.

Loved the accommodation, peacefulness, and location. The accommodation was super clean and tidy. Enjoyed just relaxing and taking in the lovely surroundings. Big shout out to Audry, who made our stay exceptional. Waking up to the horses close by was a really nice touch. Time went too quickly, and I will be booking another break at Krishna Farm Retreat.

If you are not desperate for a beach resort you should try Montville Falls. the hosts were fantastic and the place beyond beautiful. Lovely breakfast, quiet and a lot of space. We hardly wanted to leave the place for necessary tourist attractions..

Has an amazing restaurant Long Apron on the property. The staff is very nice, knowledgeable and gives great recommendations. Situated in the hinterland mountains of the Sunshine Coast, this area has great appeal. Good restaurants, boutique shops, and wonderful scenic walks, or for the less active, plenty of scenic drives. Whether swimming under waterfalls, or enjoying excellent food this area is an excellent choice.

Hiking in the area is always fantastic.

Hiking in the area is always fantastic. The shops are quaint and quirky if that's your thing (not really mine) but for me it's the region's nature that keeps me coming back. To that end, there are pretty limited mid-range accommodation options that aren't in the townships. Some areas have more of that sort of thing nestled right among the mountains and forests, whereas in this area that kind of accommodation is harder to find and more expensive - though if you're willing to head down the range to the Eudlo area (it's only a 20 minute drive) you can do well staying there and taking day trips up the mountains.

Mapleton is a small country town on the top of a ridgeline...

Mapleton is a small country town on the top of a ridgeline with that side having views over Mount Coolum and Marcoola to the ocean in the distance. There are numerous hikes/walks in the area including access to the Sunshine Coast Great Walk. If you visit I would highly recommend having a lunch at the Mapleton Hotel, it was an absolute surprise, the food and service was sensational. The more touristy town of Montville is a short drive away. The town also has several coffee shops, an IGA and service station.

Mapleton is a quiet area close to natural beauty.

Mapleton is a quiet area close to natural beauty. Not too far to travel for a light meal. Fish and chips great, meals at Mapleton Tavern. Coastal and country views. Good location for a base. Not too far to drive to Flaxton, Montville and onto Maleny.

Mapleton is one of a string of small villages along the...

Mapleton is one of a string of small villages along the Blackall Range ridge with access to lots of rainforest walks, long and short, lakes, cafes, shops, galleries and restaurants. The Mapleton Tavern had good food and was open on a Monday night when many other venues were closed. Mapleton is much smaller and quieter than its neighbours Maleny and Montville and a nice alternative with less passing tourist traffic.

Fresh baked goods delivered to our door each day were delightful. The Pavilion is well stocked with everything you could need in the cupboards and drawers, including the fridge with fresh eggs, milk, butter, condiments, chocolate, juice .. So thoughtful. You really only need to bring your overnight bag and some wine or pop down to Mapleton and pick up a take away or dine out. The bathroom, which is really a spa room is such a gorgeous space too, and allows for added relaxation with candles and bath salts provided.

Fantastic!! One of my favourite getaways ever. Don’t be deterred by the low number of reviews - this place is brand spanking new. I’m biased because it’s where we stayed, but I think Evergreen is the best cabin - it faces directly into the nature reserve at the back of the property. The cabin is so spacious, the bathtub is massive, the fireplace is so convenient and easy to use, and the property is as close as possible to Mapleton National Park. Also Montville is only 10 minutes away!

We enjoyed the property. The main areas were lovely and allowed for relaxed interactions with our group. 2 bathrooms which was handy. Close to the falls and to Mapleton, so it was a great location for our girls weekend!! they made sure that we had access to those little things that you might forget in the kitchen, like paper towel etc. Car parking was great for a few cars.

A lovely little old-school B&B. The hosts are wonderfully friendly folk who genuinely have your interests at heart. If you’re keen on walking and hiking then their property is right on the Sunshine Coast Great Walk track - literally on it! It’s also walkable distance from the Mapleton Pub. Highly recommended for a relaxing weekend in the country.
