I have stayed here multiple times and tried most of the accommodation in the vicinity, it is the best place in Macksville to stay! Ideal location, friendliest people you could meet, immaculately clean and extreemly well looked after. I will keep staying here each time I visit Macksville as I have many times before.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Athol’s Place in Macksville situated in a great position beautiful view of the river so convenient to shops and cafes. A very comfortable house with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Hope to return again soon.

Staff were lovely and easy to get in contact with. It was a motel, so we were very happy with what we got. The people at the Macksville Hotel were also the loveliest bar staff we have ever encountered
