After a previous booking being cancelled and to get this accommodation on short notice, I was impressed. ane was lovely and very accommodating. The unit was great for our 3 night stay. She told us of its recent upgrade. We found the essentials provided were fine for us. We did make a couple of suggestions for kitchen utensils and was thanked for feedback. The price was impressive and I thought was great value. Very comfy bed and pillows. The air con did the job on the warm nights.

Location, location, location. A hidden gem 2 minutes walk to the supermarket 5 minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Feels great having the place to yourself. After travelling it is heaven having a proper home shower, not a temperamental hotel shower.

The view from Bayview apartment was absolutely stunning. The apartment itself was well equipped. An added bonus was seeing wild Koala in nearby tree and Kangaroos in nearby fields and the grounds themselves.

Very cute decorated, all you need is there. The small details, well chosen furniture, truly a great place! And of course we loved the koalas in the tree, first thing we did every morning is go out and search for them :)

Favorite spot would have to be Emu Bay.

Favorite spot would have to be Emu Bay. Favorite eating place was the Italian restaurant. We ate most of the time at our accommodation or where ever we ended up on our day trips. By far the best lunch was at Shoal Bay.

The town had everything we needed for the trip, including a...

The town had everything we needed for the trip, including a couple of fabulous op shops/book shops. We found the short way into town from the property and explored the coast in both directions, in addition to our longer day trips to different parts of the island. We divided the island into chunks - it only takes an hour to get to the other end - and did north coast one day, south coast another, Penneshaw and surrounds another, and Flinders Chase (twice), plus one day to look around Kingscote itself. The supermarket is great; the takeaway restaurant fine, we didn't do fine dining but it's there if you want it.

Great place to visit if you love nature,birds,Kangaroo’s,echidna,Eagles and you must visit RAPTOR DOMAIIN an amazing bird show and small zoo.There are a few good wineries,a gin distillery,and a great beer brewery as well.The remarkable Rocks annd Admirals Arch are a must see and lighthouses with amazing sea views tthat go on forever.

Kangaroo Island is big and you need transport to see all of the sites and attractions. Kingscote is reasonably central to everything but is 45 minutes drive from the ferry terminal. We covered most of the main tourist sites, though we were there in winter and some businesses were closed. We liked the relaxed pace and the quiet roads.

It was easy to travel around the island.

It was easy to travel around the island. Remarkable Rocks and the Arch are well worth a visit. The Raptor Park and the sand dunes are great. We ate at the Queenscliff Hotel each evening. Good meals at reasonable prices.

Kangaroo Island is the perfect island to see, and Kingscot...

Kangaroo Island is the perfect island to see, and Kingscot is the largest town on the island, with all the facilities. Although it closes early on weekends, it doesn't spoil the experience of this fascinating island safari and almost perfect beach walking experience

Excellent location just outside kingscote with parking right next to the cabin. Cabin had all basic amenities including microwave, kettle and portable heater. Shower was hot, with plenty of blankets and duvets. Nice porch with view across the local field.
