We loved our stay at Quiet Country Retreat. The place is so spacious and quiet & having the pool was an added bonus to keep the kids occupied. Everything we needed was supplied and little extras like the wine and snacks were so thoughtful (and delicious). Just a short drive to the town and the beach, we will definitely be back!

Forster is a beautiful little town and should be on everyone’s list to visit. We ate at the Forster Club, excellent food.we walked to everything, had breakfast the next morning at Beach Bums Cafe very busy but great food and views.

We loved the location, very close and an easy walk to shops, restaurants, beaches and a lovely coastal walk right at your doorstep. The apartment itself was beautifully renovated and kitted out with everything you would need while on holiday, everything was brand new!! Would highly recommend this apartment for a perfect holiday experience!

Forster is like many other NSW North Coast towns, recreation facilities abound as you are surrounded by Oceans & Lakes. Shopping is mainly centred at the Stockland Mall which is a short car ride away from the centre of town & Beach-side accommodation. There are plenty of Clubs & Pubs for entertainment & if you take yer Fishing Gear you'll be set like a jelly. If you happen to enjoy Oysters the lakeside Oyster Barn is there for your convenience as are many restaurants.

Forster is a beautiful place, so many nice little beaches to go and see. We also went to put put and on the water golf. The movies is only 8 mins up the road. Great shopping. Everything is so close by.

Forster is a beautiful small coastal town and a wonderfully relaxing place to visit. The people are friendly, the water is stunning, and you’re almost guaranteed to spot dolphins in the river. If you’re looking for a great meal, Limlong Thai is excellent.

Only a bit more than 3-hour drive north from Sydney to enjoy beautiful beaches & walking + cycling track along the river. Highly recommended for a weekend away or 1-day stopover when you drive north toward QLD.

I was well surprised, photos and descriptions did not do it justice. I was devastated about leaving in 2 days for another hotel once I got there. Beautiful, modern, clean, great living room, great kitchen, great rooms and the best bathroom. So many things provided which are not usually included in units or cabins, like lots of toilet paper! My kids loved this place too. We had one of many BBQ’s right in front of our place and also the pool and tennis court. Also, so close to everything. I will definitely be visiting again.

Location is amazing view is outstanding we Stayed in the Penthouse and it was a big WOW as soon as You open the door. Short walk to everything no car needed Beach , shops , fishing heaps of food shops close by. Forster is a beautiful place to stay so think about it for your next holiday. This is our 3rd stay at Hotel Forster as we travel down the east coast from Brisbane to Sydney. The Hotel has fabulous service as often we are late arriving and the beds are super comfortable. The room is always very clean and it is in a fabulous location!

The hotel is very clean, which is our top priority for the stay. A short stroll to the lake on one side and the beach on the other side. There were drink vouchers for the club next door. The hotel has a clean and working BBQ area as well.
