We loved our stay at Quiet Country Retreat. The place is so spacious and quiet & having the pool was an added bonus to keep the kids occupied. Everything we needed was supplied and little extras like the wine and snacks were so thoughtful (and delicious). Just a short drive to the town and the beach, we will definitely be back!

Forster is a beautiful little town and should be on everyone’s list to visit. We ate at the Forster Club, excellent food.we walked to everything, had breakfast the next morning at Beach Bums Cafe very busy but great food and views.

We loved the location, very close and an easy walk to shops, restaurants, beaches and a lovely coastal walk right at your doorstep. The apartment itself was beautifully renovated and kitted out with everything you would need while on holiday, everything was brand new!! Would highly recommend this apartment for a perfect holiday experience!

Forster is like many other NSW North Coast towns, recreation...

Forster is like many other NSW North Coast towns, recreation facilities abound as you are surrounded by Oceans & Lakes. Shopping is mainly centred at the Stockland Mall which is a short car ride away from the centre of town & Beach-side accommodation. There are plenty of Clubs & Pubs for entertainment & if you take yer Fishing Gear you'll be set like a jelly. If you happen to enjoy Oysters the lakeside Oyster Barn is there for your convenience as are many restaurants.

Forster is a beautiful place, so many nice little beaches to go and see. We also went to put put and on the water golf. The movies is only 8 mins up the road. Great shopping. Everything is so close by.

Forster is a beautiful small coastal town and a wonderfully relaxing place to visit. The people are friendly, the water is stunning, and you’re almost guaranteed to spot dolphins in the river. If you’re looking for a great meal, Limlong Thai is excellent.

Only a bit more than 3-hour drive north from Sydney to enjoy beautiful beaches & walking + cycling track along the river. Highly recommended for a weekend away or 1-day stopover when you drive north toward QLD.

I've stayed in so many hotels. When I book an affordable motel just for a nights sleep on a long road trip, I prepare to be underwhelmed. Well how delighted I was when I arrived at Hotel Forster!! the friendly staff had put the key under the mat, turned the heater and lights on for me. sent me a welcome txt with instructions on how to find the hotel and my room. The room was gorgeous!! bed so comfy, spa bath and all. My only wish is that I'd booked for more than 1 night. Highly recommend you head to Forster just for this treat!! .
