We were on our way to the Penal Settlement. As we were there 2 hrs before check in they kindly held some of our food in their fridge till we got back.
Pub meals were great. Very good in dealing with my husband who has food allergies.
Asked for a late check out. No problem.
Location is briiliant. Very close to Penal Settlement. Great surrounds too.

SingaporeEverything was great and really felt like a home. The alpacas Cindy and Princess and sheep Luna and Midnight welcomed us from the moment we got off the car and were great company (definitely because of the food Scott and Linda had packed for us to feed them).
There was food and cooking supplies that went beyond the usual coffee and tea sachets - hot chocolate, Dolce gusto capsules, biscuits, oil, salt, basic herbs for cooking.
The whole cottage was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. Scott and Linda were welcoming and friendly throughout too.
Pillows were a bit soft and flat, but there were so many we just stacked them.

Eaglehawk Neck is a great starting point and base for the Tasman Peninsula. Being a Hobart local I have had many trips to this beautiful area. Lots of picturesque walks to be had, beautiful driving scenery and of course Port Arthur Historic Site. Close by is the Penicott boat trips, always worth it! Amazing Destination.
Amazing Destination. If you like nature, the ocean and not a lot of people it's a MUST VISIT. There are a number of sites within a 10minute drive of Eaglehawk Neck like Tasman Arch, Blowhole, Doo'Lish food truck, Devil's Kitchen, Pirates Bay Lookout. There were also a number within easy walking distance like Dog Line, Commanders Quarters, Pirates Beach & Tesselated Stone. Eaglehawk Neck is also centrally located for all the Tasman Peninsula attractions including Port Arthur (we did the evening Ghost Tour - very fun) hikes from Fortescue Bay (we did Cape Hauey 2,100 stair steps & incredible cliff views) as well a numerous beaches and lots gorgeous sea cliffs.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Lovely garden with amazing wildlife to watch. Honeyeaters, rabbits and pademelons - 6 on one evening. Well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, great dining area to watch the wildlife show outside.
