This park is so fantastic for kids and families especially. It's closed in/self-contained, so kids just ride around on their bikes through all the flat roads. There's a great park, the beach on one side, the lake on the other. We stayed in the lake view cabins which have their own bathrooms and kitchenettes (also air conditioning), but there's plenty of room for camping, beautifully kept toilet and shower blocks (20c for 3 min of hot water), BBQ areas, little mini mart. There's just so much there. A perfect way to unwind.

Unique and amazing stay. At first, the cabins are beautiful, comfortable, clean, have proper heating (important for winter), fully equipped kitchen and BBQ facilities outside (in common area). Secondly, the view from the cabin is amazing - you look towards the sea and beach and can enjoy nature views and sounds. Finally, and most importantly for us from Europe, we came to this property for kangaroos. We expected to look at kangaroos and our expectations were exceeded! Plenty of friendly kangaroos living and hanging around both in the beach and the property’s common areas as well.

The location was fantastic, ocean views were spectacular. sitting on the deck and taking in the beautiful sunsets. The accommodation was superb everything you could ask for. The owner was very friendly. I would highly recommend her place to my friends.

Mouldy bathroom, unable to lock my cabin door from the inside. Unable to close the main bedroom door, ,,,, absolutely disgusting maintenance. I loved this place. First time visiting the cabins and have photos of the bad maintenance and embarrassed to have brought my family.

Durras is awesome - still a proper little old school coastal...

Durras is awesome - still a proper little old school coastal town. There is plenty to do - beaches obviously but also bike riding, bushwalking, there is a skate park and basketball court plus sporting field and playground. It's close to Batemans Bay (shopping, more beaches, water park, fishing) and Mogo (has a zoo and a cool Main Street with little boutique shops, ice cream place and cafes). Durras is great for a little coastal getaway where you can be as busy or as chill as you like.

Lovely little spot in beautiful Durras North. The cottage was so well equipped, with lots of nice touches provided like plunger coffee, milk, chocolate, different teas and fruit. Lots of wildlife around and beautiful walks to do on the beach or in the bush. An easy drive down from Canberra, I'd definitely recommend it for a weekend trip away.

We have been going to Durras for years. I owned a van there for many years so it’s my family’s favourite place to spend time. We choose joalah as we love the water front cabins. I am battling cancer so while my family enjoys the area I can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
