Went to Drysdale to ride the Q train, However the countryside and the native birds and rabbits made an extra dimension. The Bellerine peninsula holds many unsung delights and the location at Drysdale was ideal. The Dairy was perfect spot, clean and comfortable. Drysdale is a very underrated area!
Drysdale is a very underrated area! We loved our stay and the chance to explore Queenscliff as well. The only thing we would suggest is that, especially given the long weekend, we relied heavily on what we could find online for markets, store and various activities. There were a few occasions where there were conflicting info regarding opening hours (even over the long weekend) and a couple of times where we were sure they were open, made the drive out only to find they closed.Guest review byAngelineAustralia - 8.0

Our stay at The Dairy cottage & The Q train experience, were exceptional. Enjoyed dining at “Jack Rabbit”, & the view was great! Was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the public toilets…not good! The stay at Drysdale was convenient as I had family living in Ocean Grove and Point Lonsdale and they did not have enough accommodation for my son and I at their houses. We enjoyed fresh mussels we bought from Portalington pier near Drysdale. The mussels were packed in the insulated box with ice in it securely to cook or to bring home as special gift for friends. If you bring your ingredients from your favourite recipes to cook with these fresh mussels (remember to bring equipment to clean mussel shelves before cooking ) you can create a five star dinner with a very minimal cost within a short time.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The rail trail from Drysdale to Queenscliff was fabulous. About 35km return. Great views. Great coffee at The Wharf in Queenscliff. The Bungalow Cafe in Drysdale serves great coffee plus had a good range of breakie grub at good prices.Guest review byRossAustralia

It was easy to find and instructions to access the unit were also easy. The unit was well planned, especially the bathroom for those who are less abled. It was large, with space to move a wheelchair around easily and a pulldown seat beside the shower. The bed was comfy with plenty of extra blankets for chilly nights!
