Conveniently close to the hospital. Was able to pay in cash for an extra night booked at last minute and also was able to book further nights at short notice as needed. Very reasonably priced, pleasant staff, clean room, met our expectations and would definitely stay there again and recommend to others. I had to stay close to Dandenong Hospital.
I had to stay close to Dandenong Hospital. The location was perfect for that and there were shops within walking distance. I enjoyed the Dandenong Marketplace which was close. I would not recommend walking around Dandenong after dark. I made sure I was back at the hotel before dark for safety as there were some shady characters around the area. FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dandenong is a culinary paradise! We visited the Dandenong Market which is fabulous for clothes and fresh food shopping and had dinner at the Afghan Hayat restaurant which was incredible. In between we went on the Puffing Billy train which was incredible fun. The next day we visited Buddhist temples in nearby Springvale and has lunch there also. I love Dandenong! Dandenong is a multi-cultural blend and so many different types of food around. The place itself is pretty easy to navigate, and as far as places of interest, the Dandenong market is a must visit - an enormous selection with something for everyone! I have been to Dandenong a couple of times and found it to be a nice place to visit but wouldn't stay as it does have it's reputation for a lot of violence.
