Staff ethos is genuinely to make your stay relaxed and comfortable. If you need to check your investments every day, check your emails or need to post to your social media daily, this isn't for you. If you are prepared to switch off, go for a walk, take a cruise up the river and do all that "connected" stuff after you go home, then you'll love this place.

The town is a must if you are into the history of the timber industry or love being in a rain forrest with a river on it's doorstep. The town takes you back in time and there are walk/hikes for everyone. The pub does great meals and the hosts are fun and freindly.

Corinna was everything we had heard it was.

Corinna was everything we had heard it was. The cottage we had was large and very well furnished. Parking was right outside our place. It was just a short walk to the restaurant where we enjoyed the evening meals. It was also a short stroll to the ferry (to get to Corinna from the South) and the boat for the Piemen River Cruise which we did on Boxing Day in amazing weather. The fact, which we were aware of, that there is no telephone, radio, tv, or wifi reception was hard to start with - but soon got used to it. Finished up playing some of the board games we found in our cottage. It was very hot (39c on one day according to the ranger- the hottest anyone could remember) and dry where when we were there (Dec 2022) but we knew it would have been a very different experience had it been the more usual weather - wet and cold. How the early discoverers and settlers managed is hard to imagine. Be aware though that bookings for Corinna have to be made a long time in advance and I can see why it is so popular for those who want to get away from it all and experience the wilderness.

Fabulous stay. Great location in the rainforest wilderness. Rooms were great, very comfortable bed and excellent heating and shower. The quality of the food in the restaurant was outstanding. We enjoyed both cruises we went on and the walks we did in the rainforest. Above all though, the staff were great, very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend Corinna for a few peaceful days away.

We loved everything about Corinna: the staff were exceptional and went beyond to make our stay amazing; the cottages were clean, super comfortable and tucked into the bush; the setting is out of this world. The cruise on the Pieman was an added adventure!

Corinna Wilderness Village is a great location to experience some true isolation with a little comfort. The Pieman River cruises are great and the village has a great old world atmosphere with some original buildings still there.

Wonderful peaceful location. Cabins excellent as was the hotel and staff. Great walks. While Matthew and Gay who run the cruises are the best.
