Also the food provided for dinner and breakfast was simply excellent. There was absolutely nothing that could have been done better!!

Friendly community, time permitting we would have explored more of Cobden's & surrounding areas facilities & attractions. Cafe has great Coffee, fresh baked date scones & interesting knick-nacks 2 purchase. Our G/son was eager 2 go 2 Squash courts (visible from balcony). Heytesbury House is a great place to stay but Cobden itself is really lacking facilities and the pub was closed so we ate at the Golf Club which was really poor. Would recommend going up the road and exploring Camperdown which is a stunning town with more food options.Guest review byErinAustralia

Bed was comfortable, kitchen well stocked and the verandah was lovely to sit on for a cuppa or afternoon drinks. Hosts were friendly, helpful and left clear instructions for easy access. Great value for money and would be happy to stay again if in the area. Short couple of minute drive to main street of Cobden and easy 5-10 minute walk to Golf Club to dine out. In fact, this pub is very old and poor if it is as hotel for people stay overnight. I like to say “it is not suit to a family’s travelling actually”. Cobden is within 1hr driving distance of the Great Ocean Rd, Warrnambool and the Otway Ranges, making it a lovely quiet spot to rest.
