    We loved riding the Riesling Trail.We had lunch at the Watervale Hotel which was amazing, staff were friendly and helped us choose our menu, making dining experience very memorable. Clare Rise Bakery was exceptional, we loved our stay and will recommend to our friends and family and will be going back again.

    Obviously we went t the Clare for the wineries and the Breweries. We were not disappointed. All the places we visited were excellent. On a whim we decided to go to th small town of Burra, we wish we had found it sooner. If you do decide to visit Burra, make a day of it, well worth th trip.

    Easy access to wineries.

    Easy access to wineries. Loved the ambience of Shut The Gate winery. Great meal in the Seven Hills pub. Art and crafts stores/galleries were not open. The Arts collective was supposed to be opened at 10am, we arrived on time, waited 8 minutes and no one came to open up - very disappointing! Would not visit Pikes winery again. We were not permitted to purchase a glass of wine and sit by the fire to drink it. We were the only people in the place at the time. We would have needed to purchase a full tasting experience to sit by its fire. Really folks!!

    There is so much to see and do in the Clare Valley.

    There is so much to see and do in the Clare Valley. The wineries, historical sites such as Sevenhill, Mintaro, Polish Hill River. Restaurants, hotels and bakeries are first class and cater for all budgets. The countryside is beautiful with lots of native wildlife to be seen and can be experienced by walking, bike hire or driving.

    The Clare Valley is full of comforts and treasures beyond its famous wines. Fresh eggs and home made jams and chutneys from the CWA, well priced curios and vintage clothes from Felicity's and great food options including excellent Indian from Indii Clare. Can't wait for the next visit.

    The best parts of Clare is the countryside and the wineries.

    The best parts of Clare is the countryside and the wineries. there is not a great deal to see in the main street except for the old buildings and the history that are the main highlights of Clare. The Bentleys hotel in the main street served up great meals.

    Owl cottage is a delightful place to stay and enjoy the Clare Valley. The location near the Skillogalee winery is perfect for enjoying everything the winery has to offer. The cottage is well appointed and the complimentary breakfast items really hit the spot. The friendliness of the staff cannot go without being mentioned.

    Great location to the south of Clare, right beside the Riesling Trail and close to the town and excellent wineries. The house had lots of space and nice facilities and equipment. Having full breakfast provided was very helpful for us - thankyou. We would certainly opt to stay there again.
