I had a fantastic experience at Black Rock Inn. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an apartment. The late check-in process was seamless, with excellent communication from reception and easy access to the room. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, featuring a large balcony that added a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable, and I have to say, the pillows were perfect—a rare find in hotels! The shower was generously sized, and the entire space was spotless and quiet, providing a peaceful stay.

the place does not provide food, so they directed you to next door to the petrol station. Because I know Blackwater after I know where to go for food, including breakfast (bakery opens at 4 am, has a nice breakfast. Also the Blackwater Hotel and Motel, country club etc are efficient and provide nice variety of food and is walking distance from the hotel. However they also could have offered eg bank info, pizza hut, subway, coal centre etc meetings and catch up's for work purposes.

it was quiet (for mina road near a trainline but really you hear the trains anywhere in blackwater). the staff were great the food tasty - i didnt like a few things but that was personal taste. i came back again. would stay again.

Excellent stay, will be coming to Blackwater on the regular and good to find a great place to stay

Location was excellent for us. The onsite hotel was great.
