Everything. It looks better than the photos. We have views of both the mountain and the sea. It has both indoor and outdoor patios. All rooms are very clean and comfortable. Has all the required amenities as well and just a very short walking distance away is a restaurant and shops including one where you can book your penguin tours. Scenic lookouts are also nearby. Wish we have stayed at least another night cos so much to explore In Bicheno.

The room was really clean. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was smallish but water pressure was great. The room was spacious. Microwave was a bonus. WIFI was great. The location was perfect. We could walk into town for meals etc. The host was lovely, friendly and helpful.

    Stayed at Beachfront which was great value for money,...

    Stayed at Beachfront which was great value for money, central location, within walking distance to most attractions. We ate at Food & Brew for lunch & the iconic Lobster Shack for dinner, with some afternoon beers at the newly opened Bicheno Beer Co cellar door. The blowhole is a short walk or easily accessible by a short car drive. Beautiful seaside town with lots to offer, definitely recommend staying a night or two.

    Coastal walks were superb.

    Coastal walks were superb. We could see the lookout on the hill but had great difficulty in finding information about it & easy access - a wasted opportunity for new visitors to the area as once up there the views were fabulous.

    I must admit that when I saw the property I was very disappointed .advertised as a lake view on the bay,It was a mediocre motel at best and the lake was a dirty children’s play pool really but dirty and I would never have let any children of mine anyway near it.

    Bicheno was very enjoyable and a great location to stay a few nights and enjoy the surrounds. Well located to do day trips north or south along the east coast. Enjoyed the Penguin Tour. Very scenic location.

    Bicheno is a lovely small town that caters for all needs.

    Bicheno is a lovely small town that caters for all needs. The coastal walk are some of the best in Tasmania with the flat granite boulders bordering the town, through to the blow hole are far superior to the Bay of Fires.

    Our accommodation was great, the view was amazing.

    Our accommodation was great, the view was amazing. Sadly, we were unable to view the penguins. A lot of people chose to ignore the sign with instructions on viewing process. I would go back there again, although there is not a great deal to do, it was quiet, pretty and very relaxing.

We could see that a lot of thought had gone into making sure there was everything guests would need.     We had a fantastic stay at Bicheno by the Bay. The cabins are spacious and set on beautiful grounds in a perfect spot with views of the ocean and right by the infamous Lobster Shack. The cabins were immaculately clean and provided everything we needed. The owners are warm, friendly and more than happy to help you with information and planning. I highly recommend Bicheno by the Bay, we loved our stay.

    Absolutely beautiful little place to stay on Tasmania's east coast. The Pear cottage I stayed in was the ideal size and is fitted out with high quality amenities, from the Sheridan towels to the JBL speaker. Even the pans and cookery utensils were from higher-end brands. Everything felt very premium and well thought out. Will definitely be back soon!

    OMG, we stayed in a beach front villa. A very comfortable town house style unit with spectacular views of Diamond Island. We woke to the sounds of penguins heading out to sea for the day. Would recommend this stay to anyone travelling the east coast of Tasmania.
