Had an amazing stay at the Bickells hut. The hut, bathroom and kitchen was very clean and had everything we need. The location made it even better! The view was everything! From watching the sunset over the mountains to sitting by the campfire and having the fire bath under the stars, we will defiantly be coming back for another stay !

The location is just so perfect you can walk everywhere The place is amazing !!! So clean , spacious ! You have your own little terrasse with the sounds of the birds. So peaceful! Just be aware not to leave the car in front of the barn as the garbage truck will wake you up early and a little angry if you do , which felt a bit stressful !! The owner had told me it was totally fine , but as I suspected it wasn’t ( and my car is tiny and was against the fence) so I recommend putting it in another street if you want to avoid this ! Otherwise perfect stay !!

Such a gorgeous studio apartment, only a couple of minutes from the centre of Bellingen but right in amongst nature, with beautiful views of forest and distant mountains. The apartment makes the most of its beautiful location with comfortable deck furniture, an outdoor bathtub, fire pit and lovely gardens. We saw wallabies and a friendly kookaburra!! We especially appreciated the generous welcome treats on arrival, and the excellent area / restaurant information and maps provided in the studio. It lead us to do a fantastic waterfall walk in the nearby Dorrigo National Park. Thank you, Sonja and Bruce, for making our stay so welcoming and comfortable!

I loved bellingen. even on a rainy day it was wonderful to wander around the main street. food and coffee offerings were first class, and the range of shops was very good. Physical surroundings very attractive (even on a rainy overcast day).

I have been visiting Bellingen since the 1970s and it has...

I have been visiting Bellingen since the 1970s and it has gone through many changes. We have family in the area. It became a trendy town and had a number of interesting shops and eating places. It still has that feel but not as much as 5 years ago. Still worth a visit.

After 4 days in Sydney we were looking for some down time...

After 4 days in Sydney we were looking for some down time and Bellingen fit the bill. A funky small town with good restaurants, nice shops, good scenery locations within a 45 minute drive and even a nice 18 hole golf club with available club rentals, basic but adequate. Just good fun.

There was nothing we didn't love about our small break in Bellingen, the property was almost perfect, the town was beautiful. Highlights; swimming on Bellingen River Urunga and Dangar Falls. Shopping in Bellingen!!!

I just love Bellingen.

I just love Bellingen. Feel in love with the place when I first visited in 2021 and have been back every year every since. Amazing nature and hippie town feel. Love Zaatar for Middle Eastern and Habitat for Matcha.

Stunning scenery in a beautiful modern cabin. Salli made us feel most welcome and everything we could have wanted was supplied. We cooked on the barbecue on the deck in the evenings and the kitchen was well eqipped to do so. The cabin is a few minutes drive from the charming town of Bellingen for shopping and entertainment. If you like peace, birdsong and comfort I would highly recommend Lilypad Luxury Cabins.

The rooms are situated at the back of the hotel, so no concerns with pub noise, although the walls are thin so you can hear noise from neighboring rooms easily enough. The room was spotlessly clean and a good size, with the queen and single beds being very comfortable. Plenty of milk, tea, coffee, breakfast cereals and utensils were provided. Bathroom was clean with nice towels and toiletries also provided.

arriving at the lodge bellingen was a pleasant surprise: the facilities are very-well kept and our room was spacious and tastefully furnished. we in particular liked the beautiful pool area (what more do you need than sun, a good book and a bottle of rosé) and were very well-looked after by the manager on site. we would go back anytime.

Lovely well-furnished & appointed stand alone accommodation for couples in the rainforest, not far from town. Very peaceful and picturesque. Beautiful birds in the trees. Excellent shopping & cafes in Bellingen.
