    The town itself isn't that interesting though it's very...

    The town itself isn't that interesting though it's very pleasant, and has some fantastic local scenery. The places you can go to are amazing. We were unfortunate with the weather, so though we had booked a week, we were limited in what we could do so far as visiting the national parks we were interested in. With better weather, we could have filled the week and more without difficulty. We had a great time :)

    A nice place to visit for a couple of days.

    A nice place to visit for a couple of days. Not a lot to do here . Also nightlife is almost non existent. 2 nights was enough for us . Enjoyed The Anzac Memorial, definitely worth a visit and so was the Old Gaol . The staff at the Gaol were excellent.

    We had lovely weather, visited many local attractions, the Chainsaw sculptures were amazing, National Anzac centre was so interesting and we had to go to The Sugar Boy in the town. Easy drive to Denmark and Valley of the Giants. Went to The Gap, Natural Bridge and Blowholes - which was quite a walk and steep in places.

    The holiday, laid back feel.

    The holiday, laid back feel. I grew up there until a teenager and back for every holiday, so have always had a soft spot for my hometown. Food wise: highlights are Jo Jo’s Pizzeria, Dylan’s, Six Degrees, Squid Shack, WA Chinese, Gar Heng, Sugbo, Venice and that cafe on the corner of York St, next to the PO.

    Was a work trip but plenty to do if it was a holiday , very diverse and friendly , great variety of shops, clothes, gifts , jewellery ,food , cafes , beaches , history, plenty of places to stay, varied in price ,worth a drive . Stop at small towns on way down such as Narrogin, Wagin,Katanning etc on the way back stop at towns on Albany hwy or cut across to Denmark also stunning place , elephant rocks and great bakery just to give you a taste of what is available if you slow down and enjoy the journey , great wineries, cheese factory, chocolate place , even uggboot products , old whaling station

    Close to Middleton Beach and amenities such as a bar, cafe and fish and chip shop. The property was spacious with 3 large bedrooms which comfortably accommodated 6 adults. There were 2 bathrooms and all the amenities required for a self contained apartment. On site parking was also available. All this for a very reasonable price.

    I am a return visitor to the Albany Holiday Units. This stay was also very enjoyable. The units are a bit older but a good size, clean, comfortable and self-contained with a good kitchen. Location is great, close to the beach and close to town.
