The property was perfect, it was so clean and the decor was great, the hosts have thought of everything. My children loved playing with the toys and books. We saw the host Sean and he was so friendly and helpful it was great to chat to him. Thanks again for having us we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Sonny’s place is really a piece of Paradise. Just off the beaten track and full of wildlife! So peaceful that the kangaroes want to stay too. Lovely modern and clean accomodation wich provides all you need for a short or longer break. Sonny is the best host you can imagine. I recommend this place strongly!

The location was excellent, easy walking distance to the beach and town centre. The house had everything you need for a great holiday and the outside deck area was fantastic with a large 8 seat round table. Would love to return in the future.

Beautiful spot and wonderful beaches, surf side and the estuary. Good costal walks both sides. Not a lot of shopping, but a good variety of outlets with good food. Well stocked supermarkets. Must checkout the Gelato shop and Rusty Pelican (fish N chips) 1770

Lovely relaxed spot for a beach holiday.

Lovely relaxed spot for a beach holiday. Recommend the LARC tour from 1770 - very knowledgeable guide and a bit different to other tours. Many interesting things to see and do. Some great walks. Old fashioned but very interesting museum with exhibits on Cook, Flinders and locals.

Beautiful main beach and ammenities with a lovely park for young children. One of the biggest and best stocked IGA supermarkets I have ever seen for all your holiday needs. The Tavern is amazing with a wonderful menu. We loved exploring the other beach areas with Workman’s beach being particularly lovely. 1770 is just beautiful and we would highly recommend the Larc tour.

Everything that you needed was at this coastal town. Plenty of walks along the beach or bushland. Lots of places to eat and shop. Locals were friendly and were eager to promote their town. Just a short drive to 1770, which was a gem.

A lovely little town that no doubt would be busy in the warmer months. Plenty of eateries and a great place to get away. The Tavern had great food and no shortage of good coffee shops. Only had one night and half day to explore but definitely worth stopping.

A little tucked away oasis. The beach is clean. The people are friendly. The restaurants and little boutique shops are wonderful. Super easy to walk around. I think I’ve found my new holiday destination for the future!

We stayed at Sonny’s in the Captains Cabin room while on a road trip. Positives - Stylish room, comfortable bed, large shower, clean, quiet area, birds & wallabies, helpful host, excellent value for money. Negatives - 8 mins to Agnes Water / 15 mins to 1770. Would definitely recommend staying here unless you really want to be close to the beaches.

The proximity to the beach is excellent. The beach was clean and the ocean clean to swim in. The flagged area of Agnes Waters was a leisurely 15-minute walk along the golden sand. The pool and pool/spa areas at the resort were well maintained, quiet and clean. The 3-bed apartment was spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable for a group of 6.
