Helga is a wonderful person, very pleasant and always ready to help. There was plenty of space in my room, and very ergonomic furniture. Especially nice for reading, relaxation, meditation. Fabulous mountain views from a large balcony.

A lovely hotel. We were warmly greeted on arrival. The check in process was very easy. There is parking right outside the hotel. Our room was lovely and big. The room is very comfortable and super clean. The beds are very comfortable and so are the pillows. We had a balcony on our room as well. It was very quiet. Large bathroom, great shower, wifi was fast and a TV, mirrors and a safe. Fabulous breakfast and all fresh and local food. There are many restaurants close by too, for dinner.

Scharnitz is beautifully situated in the Karwendel Mountains. Seefeld, Innsbruck, and Garmisch are all easily accessible. The area offers excellent hiking and e-biking opportunities. A small grocery store would be a welcome addition to Scharnitz.

A great starting point for hiking in the Karwendel mountains. The town itself desperately needs a tourism manager. The offerings for nature lovers are unbeatable, but the infrastructure, such as restaurants, cafes, and overall town life, is completely neglected or nonexistent. The Isar River is a beautiful, clear river that flows right through the town; it would be perfect for beer gardens right on its banks...

A great place to explore the Karwendel Valley on foot or by bike. The town itself isn't exactly picturesque, but if you have a car, it's an excellent base, especially since accommodation prices are considerably cheaper than in places like Mittenwald.

Scharnitz is a small, tranquil village with a bakery, a café...

Scharnitz is a small, tranquil village with a bakery, a café, and a restaurant. There are no shops here, so you have to drive to the next largest towns, Mittenwald or Seefeld. However, there is a well-equipped information center with a museum and a great playground for children.

The design of the place is excellent. Both in style as in layout. The cool place to hang and dry your clothes. The spacious kitchen and the balcony with excellent sunchair. The bathroom has a great mirror and strong and warm shower. All together it was a great experience. There were complimentary drinks (non alcohol). The new tunnel makes Scharnitz bloom.

We booked two rooms, and the manager was so nice and organized two connected rooms, with a terrace in between. That was a bonus we did not expect, and we greatly appreciated it. The rooms were quiet, had nice views, and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The breakfast was tasty, fresh and varied.

Our apartment was close to town and the station in Scharnitz. Great for self catering and there is a small supermarket nearby. Very comfortable with a balcony too. Elena , the host, was very attentive and helpful.
