Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden is a textbook example of top hotel service and a source of inspiration for all hotels developing their luxury offer. The Aquapura SPA Wellness Centre stretches a staggering 3600 square metres and is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious in this part of Europe. A rich offer includes an indoor and outdoor pool, a panoramic sauna in the garden and a relaxation space with water beds and a SPA cinema. Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden is absolutely one of the most prestigious hotels within the Falkensteiner portfolio. Similarly to a world-class athlete, it faces the task of beating its own standards and thus retaining its spot among the best in the hotel industry. When we last evaluated the hotel, the Falkensteiner hotel group had only started managing it. Today, it is in peak performance and is ageing almost as well as the finest Bordeaux wines. The property was right on the beach with swimming and paddle boarding and kayaking available to guests for free. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room had great views on the water. The staff were really lovely. The apartment had everything. The property was a 5 minute walk to town centre. The town had wonderful restaurants right on the water.

    Hotel Fuchs & Hase is a nice boutique hotel, with modern furniture and friendly staff. Our room was small but cozy, with a balcony (and a really nice view), a mini fridge and a safe. Location is good, near Rosegg Animal Park and Velden am Wörthersee. Breakfast was OK, it must be booked a day in advance on-site and there are a few different menus (with different prices) available. Self check-in worked great, no problems there.

    Perfect hotel for one night stay, while travelling. Brand new, very clean, smartly designed and equipped, spacious shower, convenient parking, tasty breakfast, no reception in the evening but smart, electronic lock solution (access code received by email) enables any time check-in (officially until midnight, but probably even later) especially convenient in long journey traveling, quiet location in a village.

    The hotel is brand new restored, modern style furniture, and small terrace with river vew. There is e-charching, not cheap, but helpfull during a journey. Good balance between the price and the quality
