The accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed. We positively evaluate the kitchen equipment, couch in the living room kitchen, functional Wi-Fi, and especially appreciated the nets on the windows, which is far from standard in all accommodations. We traveled on hot summer days and yet the apartment was not hot and stuffy. The location was not luxurious, but the surroundings of the house were nicer than we expected from looking at the map. In a pleasant valley, near the romantic narrow-gauge railway.

My visit was for Krameterhof an inspirational project started by Sepp Holzers now run by his son. See the planetary potential of permaculture in action on their courses I had brought bread cheese and fruit with me so did not eat out. There is a pizzeria The transport links were good. I walked as much as I could but locals freely offered assistance. Walking in the hills is excellent

Ramingstein is situated in a beautiful nature reserve with many hiking opportunities. However, it's a small village. We also explored Katschberg, where we discovered a lovely hiking trail. For restaurants and groceries, head to Tamsweg, a village just a fifteen-minute drive from Ramingstein.

It is a very small village, we like to walk after dinner and for the atmosphere we traveled to the nearby town, which was a few km away. The price corresponded to the location of the accommodation. I do not recommend this location if you are looking for a busy larger city.

Ramingstein itself is a small, quiet village. The following review refers to nearby Tamsweg. A very pretty and typical local town. Very good value for money in most restaurants. Very friendly and welcoming people.

It was a very comfortable, nice apartment, close to the main road of Ramingstein. The housekeeper is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very clean, has a small kitchen and beautiful bathroom and large enough for three people. The house has a storing room for ski equipments and a dryer for the boots. Also a infra and a finnish sauna can be found in the basement.

We travelled to Croatia from Germany and the hotel was our transit point. It is a good solution in terms of price/quality to stay for a night if you travel with family in a long trip. We payed something like 115 euros for 4 persons including nice breakfast.

Excellent host! Very good breakfast, free parking right on the property, excellent views around the hotel, not far from the express way. Beautiful surroundings and landscapes. Very good beds - 210 cm long! Excelent for the people above 180 cm!
