Great location: calm, peaceful, and beautiful mountain views. Very nice and helpful staff, very clean and well-appointed rooms. Cows in the pasture provide dairy products for breakfast; hens in the barn provide the eggs.

It is time to come up with a new rating system for hotels like Neuwirt. Five stars do not capture the uniqueness and perfection of this place which is newly renovated keeping with the authentic style of the region while also providing modern comforts. The old part of the building provides newly renovated simply designed rooms with the most luxurious beds. The rooms in the new part are uniquely designed each offering an unbelievable living experience. Our room had a sauna (which we did not use) and a bathroom with a shower that could fit 6 people. The beds are placed in a way that allows to look out the large patio doors to see the sky. The new rooms have a quiet AC, but we did not use it and opened our doors instead. The best way to describe our experience is to say that we forgot we were in a hotel. We felt home. We loved the restaurant which serves typical meat heavy Austrian food. Delicious.

We had a fantastic time at the hotel and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel's location near the public bus station made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff was extremely helpful, providing us with guidance on the must-visit spots in Salzburg. The interior of our room was excellent, with great attention to detail, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Salzburg

The inn is close enough to Salzburg, 5 minute walk to Unterbergen cable car and public transport to Salzburg. Vila Landlust is just front of Simmerl Gasthof, having both the same owner. So, good spot for having dinner after a tourist day in the city.

From the moment you enter to make a check-in the Motel One surprises you with how beautiful and cozy the reception area is. The room is small but has everything you need and the style of the room continues the cozyness of the previously mentioned. The garage parking with the elevator that goes straight to the rooms makes the stay even more comfortable. The location is good with the bus stop right in front of the hotel and within 15 minutes you are in the center of the city. The district is quiet and with a lot of little restaurants or cafes and shops.
