Leoben is a small, pretty town.
Leoben is a small, pretty town. My hotel Gastof Zum Grief had a superb location, literally 2 minutes from the main square and right by the river. It’s easy to walk around Leoben which has many bars and restaurants in and off the main square. Lovely country walks by the river and also a shopping centre in the main square. I ate in San Marco, Trattoria Roma, Zum Greif, Stadt Meierei,and Schwarzer Adler - all very good.Guest review byBinda - 8.0

Leoben is more a town than a city, even if it is the second city of Steiermark; one day is more than enough to visit the city itself, but in the neighborhood there are some places that worth a visit: Asia Spa, 5 minutes walking from the city center, the Ice Arena, Präbichl for downhill skiing, Abenteuer Erzberg to visit the mine, Redbull Ring for MotoGP and F1 fans, Voest Alpine Leoben/Donawitz has free tour for tourists. Leoben is a small and nice city in Steiermark.
Leoben is a small and nice city in Steiermark. Its main square is really gorgeous as the tower and the bridge on the river. Nice coffee spots and restaurants. The city is also famous to be the city of the most famous Austrian beer, Gösser. Not far from the city center you can find the company which includes a museum ("Gösseum") and a cozy Gästhaus where you can eat good dishes and drink different kind of the national beer.
