Check-in was very smooth. All the formalities were already done, and we just had to sign, and that's it. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Minibar was stacked with enough drinks and snacks for everyone. The Märchenwald right behind the hotel was a Hit with the kids. The breakfast buffet set-up was no less than a 5-star hotel. All in all, we loved our stay at Hotel Schwatz.

Extremely kind staff on the reception as well as restaurants. All meals were very delicious but we also ordered a’la card dinner and this was really exceptional. We strongly recommend this experience. Comfortable beds with folding roller which made this also sofa and a very sensational “friend” :)

The hotel was amazing! We booked at the last minute, yet the owners were ready and waiting to welcome us. Everything looked spotless and newly refreshed. Good value for money, it was extremely clean both in- and outside of the room. I arrived later than expected and the staff already had left the place. I called them, they were polite and helped me how to access the room key.

    Staff/ Owners really try to make this a nice experience but the hotel is dated (furniture, etc.). Restaurant has a limited menu but food is good and there is a good selection of local wines. Given that most guests are sales people travelling through there wasn't much atmosphere ... everyone pretty much kept to themselves.
