The house was exraodinary, we really liked all the little details, it was very clean, the beds are confy, all the linen were new. The house has three large bedrooms with one big bathroom, livingroom with kitchen and large dinning table. The kitchen is very well equiped to fit everybody. We really apreciated the coffee. There was parking available.The check in was easy and clear. The host was welcoming.

Excellent hotel and restaurant. Staff were very friendly although reception is in the restaurant so at busy times you may have to wait a bit. The room was big, clean and well equipped. Breakfast offered a wide selection. The hotel is located directly on the main square, a few minutes on foot to the train station or the Stift.

Very comfortable clean and spacious room, the crew was friendly and helpful. We were bit late to check in, the receptionist waited for us. The breakfast was varied with extra fresh breads, good coffee! The abbey was 5 minutes on foot.

The Danube promenade is pleasant, the children really liked...

The Danube promenade is pleasant, the children really liked the playground. We spent one night here on our way home. The pizza at the nearby restaurant was extremely delicious, and the dinner on the terrace was pleasant.

Kleinpöchlarn is located next to Melk.

Kleinpöchlarn is located next to Melk. Melk Abbey is truly worth seeing. Kleinpöchlarn itself doesn't offer much, apart from its pleasant location on the Danube, which makes a good starting point for walks or bike rides.

We were here for cycling.

We were here for cycling. There is a beautiful route along the Danube on the right side to Wachau and back against the Danube on the other side. However, there are not many other options. We set off from Spitz from the Danube to Trandorf and back in a loop - terrible hills. Even worse on the other side from Melk to Loosdorf and Mekendorf - the route is mostly on roads.
