The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Great selection of food for breakfast and dinner, excellent location with breathtaking views, beach in front of the hotel, staff friendly, nice and kind. We truly had a wonderful time! And on our departure we received a gift- homemade jar of jam which was a wonderful gesture! 😊Thank you very much! 😊😊

Amazing location nestled in picturesque mountains by a lake. Logistically excellent for exploring the surrounding area—although a car is necessary, the stay can also be enjoyed as a relaxing lakeside retreat (though that would be a "shame" given the richness of experiences nearby). The accommodation features a pleasantly natural design. Room amenities exceed expectations, including a well-equipped kitchen and supplies. The bathroom is smaller but fully functional. The property also offers beautiful outdoor corners perfect for meditation.

We have booked this as a last minute stay for one night after we have been let down by another property. The place was great. It has an outdoor space and play area for children, we could borrow table tennis. The room had bunk beds but we didn't mind as all else was fine. They had an option of buffet style dinner which we took up and were not disappointed, food was delicious. We had breakfast included which was also great. Plenty of parking available. Thank you for a lovely stay.

absolutely stunning in the winter, everything was covered in...

absolutely stunning in the winter, everything was covered in snow when we went at the end of December. Also would be beautiful in summer by the lake. some nice restaurants near by around Grundlsee and the tourist information office was very helpful and she spoke good English. the lake is huge so takes a while to go round. there were very few English tourists in the area, so knowing a bit of German helped. the frozen lake nearby by was also a great find. we went tobogganing at Loser near Bad Aussee which had great views from the top. the buffet style food at the JUFA hotel in Grundlsee was great so you don't have to wait for food if you have hungry children. also drove through Halstatt which is a very popular tourist destination, not that impressed just lots of buses/people and no space or parking.

We very much liked it. Came with a 6month baby. They helped with the baby bed, and everything we needed. Breakfas was great, the view is really astonishing Asking extra money for the pool table was a little suprising, but anyways, at least no-one wanted to use it...

Excellent property just 15kms away from main Hallstatt. The drive was pleasant. The rooms are a bit far away from the main reception building but the view from the balcony was awesome. The restaurant is good too.

Very beautiful and quiet location very close to the lake. We enjoyed hiking, cycling, paddleboarding, boat ride... and much more. All of that in one spot, surrounded by mountains, woods, blooming meadows ... . The house had everything a family needs for a perfect holiday. Beautifully built with a very practical layout, children's playground and a fascinating natural scenery in a backdrop. The place was perfect for everyone in our family from a 2year old to our grandpa. Highly recommended!

Renate and her family are extremely friendly and helping out with everything we needed. The communication went very easily. The house is super beautiful and clean. The bathroom and bedrooms are newly renovated. The internet is also very good. The location of the house is very special and beautiful. The area is quiet and with the snow it looked like a fairytale. You can hike directly from the house around the lake or towards the other lake. In the village is a supermarket.
