This place was truely amazing. The hotel itself looks like a beautiful modern castle a bit outside the city of Gerlos, surrounded by snowy plains and mountains. Rooms are surprisingly big, very modern while having a warm wooden touch, very clean, excellent bathroom facilities. Sauna and Swimmingpool are beautiful. Food was exceptional (!). While breakfast and lunch were buffets with a great variety, also for vegans, Dinner was a 5 course menu a la carte - with quality of a Michelin Starred restaurant. I could write an essay alone about the food. Staff was world class - friendly, approachable, compentent. Milan from the Restaurant staff was an exceptional host. Ski lift to Zillertal Arena is one street crossing away from the main entrance. Perfect. Overall, we felt like in a dream - thus I can confirm the name of this hotel being more than accurate. Travelling a lot around the world using hotels, this is one of the Top3 stays in my life. Thank you to the Hollaus Family for creating this beautiful place.

The staff were super friendly. The receptionist informed us that, as part of the booking, we had free access to the cable-car at both Gerlos and Königsleiten. We took the one at Königsleiten. Great views and the kids had a blast on the zip-line over the lake at 2,300m. An unexpected bonus. The room and breakfast were great.

Very friendly and accommodating lady that gave us our keys. Good, flexible and very friendly contact before arrival. Apartment was wonderful. Enourmously clean, light and spacey. Enough room to put our stuff in. Apartment is only a couple of minutes from the bus stop but we only used the bus once. We walked to and from the village most of the time. It’s really only a 10 minute and beautifull walk to do. Can highly recommend Kolmblick!!

for the price it was better than perfect, very clean and tidy. this is a very axpensive area which makes it even better for it’s price. good kitchen with a dishwasher. the appartement has a balcony and 2 very big windows along with one smaller one which also adds to it’s value

    Beautiful scenery and passes to cross for the motorbike. Stayed at Gast Hof Kuhle Rast, great hotel,lovely breakfast and evening meal, this place is a great find. (Not for the disabled as on a hill and accommodation is upstairs). Wonderful for an overnight but better still for a weeks holiday. They have 3 sitting out areas and a great seating area inside. Rustic Austria. The scenery was fantastic.

    Upon arrival we felt completely at ease, Michaela and Martin are both excellent hosts, really really fantastic. Both enormously friendly and caring. Everything is clean and taken care of to perfection. Breakfast was top-notch every day, something you don't often see at big hotels. With the skibus you can get to the slopes very easily and quickly and cost really no effort. I would recommend this stay for everyone, Michaela and Martin thanks for your good care and attention for us we will come back 100%, you are fantastic🤩🤩

    Family owned hotels/apartments are our preferred because of the care and consideration that the hosts provide. Excellent location in the high street of the town. Balcony outside the room. Free and secure parking. We met our host Hubert and also grandpa and he is a motorcycle enthusiast! What a character! Restaurants and bars of all prices within walking distance. Breakfast included. Free voucher for a return ride up the local ski lift - face value 40 euros.

    It is close to numerous tourist attractions, very good located. Our apartman was super clean, spacious, filled with every necessary equipments. The staff was very kind, friendly and supportive. We can only highly recommend VAYA Gerlos to anyone. You will not be disappointed with this accommodation. We will definitely go there in the future.
