Service was above any expectations, the hotel is actually operated by the owner family who are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cousy and well equipped. SPA area clean covenient and not crowded. Everything and everywhere was very clean and well maintained. Food was very good especially dinner. We liked the stay a lot and would easily recommend to anyone wanting to stay in an authentic Austrian hotel.

    We enjoyed the opportunity to visit different valleys around Finkenberg depending on the weather. Heavy cloud, rain (and snow above 2000m) prevented us going very high, but the forests and river walks were beautiful.

    Like heaven l like every thing, clean rooms, new furniture, panoramic and wonderful view from balcony, central area, very kind owner the mother with her son. Sure l will come back and I highly recommend. Also the breakfast was nice.

    Superbly convenient location for skiing.

    Superbly convenient location for skiing. But Mayrhofen is only a 9 minutes' bus ride away, and it is itself directedly connected to the skiing area by two big cable cars, so staying there is a serious, realistic option.

My room boasted wooden floors, a vintage cabinet, and iron curtain hangers, all around 50 years old yet retaining their charm. The room offered a comfortable bed and chairs. The ski room was conveniently located near the parking area. Breakfast was traditional and high-quality, featuring eggs, cheese, ham, muesli, and coffee/tea. Rosenegg epitomizes Finkenberg hospitality, ensuring a memorable stay.

    The location is perfect to explore the Zillertal mountains. Close to Mayerhofen and the view from the house is super! From Finkenberg you can access a lot of trails. The hostess is friendly and helpful. We are a family with children 6 and 3y and the apartment was perfect for us.
