We were so happy to find such a great place! It is just perfect for Salzburg visit. Rooms are good enough, large bathroom. Bus 21 to Salzburg every 15 min to the center! We even got free tickets at the reception. Breakfast is fresh, tasty and all in good quality. We could leave our luggages at the reception after check out. What I would recommend to the other guests with kids traveling with big luggage - there is not the lift and is better to pack 1 small luggage just for this stay, than to carry heavy big one to the 4th floor.

We have just completed a 2 night stay in a family suite and I can not rave about this hotel enough. All the staff were incredibly friendly and professional and so good with my 10 year old daughter. The indoor and outdoor playroom were a big hit and the pool area is amazing. The food was excellent and our room was even nicer than the pictures. Thank to everyone for making my 50th birthday a memorable one!!!

The room is perfectly designed. I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels. This Hotel was the most welcoming one. The room tempreature was adjusted to the cold winter weather outside and it was warm and welcoming. The hotel'facilities like Indoor pool, spa, etc were excellent to get relaxed and gain energy for the next day. The Breakfast was by far the best one I had in Austria.

The 180 degree view from the Gasthof Maria Plain hotel terrace, and from the balcony of room #20 which we had, captures sweeping pastoral greenery in the foreground, behind which is the city of Salzburg with the iconic fortress on the berg, back-dropped by the soaring Austrian Alps.     Very clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Free parking onsite. Balconies. Very good restaurant onsite. BUT! Please pay attention: THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON WEEKENDS. On weekends you can only have breakfast there. If you plan to stop in this hotel on your way to or from your holiday destination you risk going hungry.))

    Very nice hotel, lovely location close to Salzburg. 15 min drive by 1 bus. Lovely size of the room and the bathroom. Traditional and lovely family establishment. Enjoyed the back garden especially in the hot weather. Great choice for breakfast, could not fault it.
