The location of the CESTA hotel in Bad Bruck is conveniently located opposite a bus stop with regular bus services. The hotel rooms are outstanding big with good cupboard space, a comfy bed, well equipped bathroom, and as we were there in winter - good heating. Breakfast buffet offers a big variety of food (cold and hot, salty and sweet). Spa - the swimming pool is a good size for swimming and temperature of the water makes you stay in comfortably. The use of sauna area and steam bath is mixed, which is not everyone´s liking. A big praise to the staff at the bar area and the restaurant, they were very professional and friendly.

Friendly and helpful staff. We needed to leave at 4am to catch a train to Salzburg and they made us a delicious lunch pack to take with us. This was most unexpected but an extremely welcome gesture. Just an example of the way the hotel goes above and beyond expectations to make our stay enjoyable.

Bad Gastein is an amazing mix of natural beauty and old-world charm, surrounded by stunning mountains and lush forests. In winter its a fantastic skiing area, and since its over 1000 meters elevated they usually have a long skiing season. In summer its great for hiking! There’s so much to do, from relaxing in the famous thermal spas to exploring endless hiking trails with breathtaking views.

Bad Gastein is a totally magical place, if you like rowdy...

Bad Gastein is a totally magical place, if you like rowdy slope side apres and a buzzy town centre, go to St Anton. Bad Gastien's signature are it's spa and the weirdly magical atmosphere the huge number of belle epoch hotels, some refurbed an open, some semi-abandoned, some totally derelict. Super convenient with the train to Munich/Salzburg, come see it before the town becomes cool again.

This is our second visit in two years, so we love this beautiful scenic town with hiking trails you can walk to from the centre. The air is so fresh, which was why we came here to escape the oppressive hot summer air of Vienna. If you can rent an apartment with a kitchen, there is also a great (huge!) InterSpar supermarket near the train station - just factor in walking up and down the steep hills!

Beautiful small city that has everything you need. In the centre you can find all in the area, you can go on foot. There is beautiful fall in the centre. A lot of great food. Good connections with buses and trains to sorounding citys.

Skiing in Graukougel is a must.

Skiing in Graukougel is a must. Fine dining at Bertahof, just north of Bad Gastin, is strongly recommended, fantastic Austrian food experience. Table reservation is needed. Eat at Schmaranz in Bad Hofgastein, everything localy produced at the farm. You'll eat by the open fire where the food is cooked. A place for meat lovers.

We staid 4 in Apartment 2.Good location, 3 minutes drive to nierest gondola. Very spacious apartment. Big living room, perfect dinning area, fully equiped kitchen. Comfortable 2 bedrooms, nice beds. Friendly host. There are 2 restraunts, reached by foot. One, Gasthaus Radhausberg, is very good, but always busy. You need to reserve table in advance.Or you can go by car 5 minutes to Bad Gastein. All was perfect.

The location was good - not too far from the slopes by car and you had to drive through the very heart of beautiful Bad Gastein to get to the slopes so we saw the stunning waterfall and churches and hotels and other views every morning. What I liked most was the VALUE FOR MONEY. It was reasonably priced compared to other Airbnbs and hotels in the area.

Awesome staff! Katharina at the reception helped out a lot with extending my stay, all the people at the bar were awesome especially Aleksandra. The spa was amazing, the unique contemporary design of the hotel has its allure. Overall wonderful stay, and would recommend to anyone staying in Bad Gastein

Spacious apartment with the most incredible view of Bad Gastein and the mountains. Good location only a few minutes walk into the town centre (not a completely flat walk though) and very close to the gondola to Graukogelbahn. Parking right outside. Big screen tv with sports channels was a bonus.
